We booked two tours with Kraków Explorers: the Old Town and the Jewish Quarter. Our guide, Chris, was very kind, had a good sense of humor, and certainly was very knowledgeable about all the parts we covered. Not only did he explain the history behind, but he had also printed out pictures to show the places over the years.

He also had recommendations about places to see, bars, restaurants etc., and all were done over several QR codes he provided, with pinned places. He really went above and beyond, and just shows how passionate he is about what he does.

We definitely enjoyed our tour with Kraków Explorers, and we definitely recommend this to anyone visiting the city.

I booked a Sin City tour in Krakow and was absolutely amazed by the stories I’ve heard from my guide Bart. It’s really something that you won’t expect to hear on a usual walking excursion. Definitely recommend it to anyone who is not afraid of creepy stories!

Entertaining tour to explore Jewish Quarter in Krakow

My partner and I signed up for this tour on our last day in Krakow. It is a good opportunity to learn about the intolerable levels of hardship suffered by Jewish population in Poland, particularly in the city of Krakow. Santiago guided us on the history surrounding Kazimierz, making the journey very entertaining and pleasant (despite bad weather conditions). We highly recommend this experience!

Free Jewish Quarter Tour

Chris was passionate, informative and kept us interested and entertained for the whole time. I'm so glad that we chose to go on this tour, we learnt so much from Chris. Everybody should go on this tour, you won't be disappointed.

We were group of 5 and we traveled to Krakow just after the COVID-19 lockdown was lifted, and we were looking for walking tour around Krakow for our 2 days trip, although we couldn't book through their website we called them and Bart (Bart from the Simpsons show :D) he offered private tour to us based in donations and we went with him for both days we did the old city and Jewish quarter... He was very nice, knowledgeable, flexible and friendly... Then we asked him for a restaurant he recommended a real nice authentic restaurant... Before leaving we gave him a Polaroid photo of our group with him to remind him of the first tour after Corona and he was very emotional and I totally recommend him and the whole company for any going to krakow and looking for insights and knowledge about the city.

Jewish Quarter tour - highly recommend!

My friend and I joined tour guide Bart on a walking tour of the Jewish Quarter. Bart was an awesome guide who makes you eager to learn more. His engaging narrative and deep knowledge made the city's history and heritage spring to life! I highly recommend a tour with Kraków Explorers to enrich your stay in the city, and I hope you are fortunate enough to have Bart as your guide!

Joined this tour in Kaziemierz and wished we had caught it from the start. Bart was amazing, the perfect mixture of incredible knowledge, great humility and sensitivity to WW2 and the decimation of the Jewish community, tinged with just enough humour to break up what is a very intense and emotive subject. What's not to love, an expert in so many more ways than just knowledge. If you find the man with the Union Jack umbrella, follow him, you definitely won't be disappointed and you will learn so much. Fabulous

Really enjoyed the free walking tour with Eugene at the Jewish Quarter. Not only did he bring us to all the top sights in the area - I really liked how he narrated the sights with a story and with useful information. Recommended!

Under the Regimes Walking Tour

Had a blast on the regime free tour with Slavek! He was very educational and super entertaining. If i had history teachers like him in school i definitely would have retained more! I learned so much from his tour. He brings a very personal touch to the stories and is a joy to listen to!!
The company itself is very responsive to questions and communicates changes or updates clearly..
If the other tours they offer and the other guides are as excellent as Slavek by all means sign yourself up!

Very enjoyable free tours!

My girlfriend and I went on 2 free tours with Krakow explorers and we really enjoyed both of them.
The first tour we did was with our guide, Agata, who was really informative and sociable. She took us through the Jewish quarter and the Getto on which she gave us a lot of background story and details. The tour lasted 2,5h but the time flew very fast.
The second tour was with Mariano. He took us through various locations in the Old Town explaining us different real stories that ocurred here in Krakow. The tour lasted approximately 2,5h and again, we did not even notice when the time passed.
Overall both tours were very enjoyable. We learned a lot of history and details.
Both guides were excellent!
I really recommend Krakow Explorers to anyone who's purpose is doing tourism in Krakow.
