This was our first experience of visiting Krakow
The trips were fabulous that I’d arranged and paid for before we arrived.
The hotel was in an excellent location
The architecture of the city is amazing, one of the best that I’ve been to.
We walked all around the city on the Planty which was an excellent way to see the sites
Excellent prices , very cheap in comparison to prices for food and drinks back in the UK- unless you eat on the square which is expensive
Would definitely recommend Krakow for a city break

We were researching on how to travel from Budapest to Krakow when we came across mydaytrip.com. This site provided everything we wanted i.e. a car and driver plus extra stops in Slovakia. Our pick up time was 8am today and our driver, Patryk, arrived promptly. We were also very impressed with the condition of his car which was very clean and comfortable. He speaks English well, professional and is a safe driver. He is also very friendly and we have enjoyed chatting with him to learn more about Poland. He also recommended to us places to try Polish food, especially the van selling sausages cooked over open fire. I doubt we will have a chance to try it without him. I will definitely recommend him to my friends and will not hesitate to contact him if I return to Poland in future.

We booked a tour of Auschwitz & Birkenau and had the pleasure of slim picking us up. He arrived on time as scheduled and was full of fun facts and polish history along the way, which made the 1.5 hour journey seem to pass by very quickly. Slim ensured we were part of the correct tour group, waiting with us and introducing us to our guide and was waiting for us after the tour of Auschwitz to taxi us to Birkenau to carry on the tour. Once finished he arrived to taxi us back to krakow and dropped us off by the castle as asked. Can’t recommend enough, thanks again.

I would recommend this company to anyone and will do so to friends and family. Great service top class. Slim and Patrick could not do any more for you. Excellent time keeping. They spoke perfect English. There knowledge is brilliant very informative. They sorted all our tours out for us and made all the arrangements, even organised tradional polish lunch between tours.
Transport was spotless. Very accomodating . Nothing was to much trouble (and we asked for a lot ).
Communication before we arrived to make arrangements was brilliant.
Quite simply slim and this company are the best there is in cracow.
Would not use anyone else.

“Slim” is definitely one of the best in Poland. We booked him as our driver from Krakow to Gdansk, but to our delight, he was a guide, historian, translator, and comedian all in one! He drove us safely through a snow storm, spoke perfect English, narrated to us the history of Poland and remained cheerful and good natured throughout the entire drive, despite the heavy traffic and bad weather. We also had a leisurely stop at Turun even though we were running 2 hours behind schedule and he still had some place to go after. He was also knowledgeable when it came to this city. We also love his very dry humor. The drive was not boring at all because of his stories. The trip would never have been the same without him. I highly recommend him as guide, driver, translator, in short, everything you need.

Slim drove us 9 hours from Krakow to Gdansk with a one hour stop in Torun, it was snowing heavily the entire trip, he was cheerful all the way, regaling us with his experience and knowledge. A very expert driver, never losing his cool even on icy roads. He even sounded like Paul Bettany but looks much better

"Slim" was our driver for our transfer from Krakow to Prague. He's everything you would want in a driver: punctual, courteous and great at navigating the narrow roads. Even better, he shared with us Poland's history, interesting facts and about the people. Our journey was never boring! We planned a stop in Olomouc to see the UNESCO Trinity Column and magnificent cathedral. He had never been before but had researched it so he knew where to take us, what to see, and with his extensive knowledge and education was able to tell us about the art and architecture. He was the perfect guide! He even found us an awesome lunch spot with great food and an amazing view of the Trinity Column. He is quite memorable with a big personality, and a big heart. Interestingly enough when we happened to run into him again during our trip (what are the odds?!) while in Esztergom, it felt like reunion with an old friend!

Highly recommend. We pre-booked the Auschwitz-Birkenau tour and were looked after by the wonderfully genial Slim, who was prompt, courteous, and great company. We were picked up directly from our apartment and looked after very well from start to finish. Slim was also the official guide on the tour and is very professional and knowledgeable and happy to take time to answer questions and ensure everybody is engaged.

I'm a photographer, and I wanted to visit Auschwitz I & II without the pressure of a group, small or large. My friend had used Slim a few weeks prior, and recommended him. He gave me a great deal on a completely private tour--it was a long day--but it was just the two of us. We chatted about Auschwitz history on the drive over, and had arranged that I would go solo throughout the site with the help of his recommendations and a great guidebook. It turned out to be exactly what I wanted. Afterward, we went to a local restaurant for a Polish lunch before doing the Salt Mine tour.
Recommendation for people exclusively interested in photography: I ended up with about 2:15 at Auschwitz I and 1:00 at Auschwitz II. Honestly I'd recommend the salt mine and giving yourself three hours at Auschwitz I and two hours at Auschwitz II. It would make the experience a bit more relaxed.
I can highly recommend Slim for your travel/tour needs in the Krakow area!
