Situated on the main square, you go down some steep stairs.

Main area for seeing the band is not very big and can be quite crowded.

There is a bar area and an eating area also.

If you go for the named spirirts these can be very pricey.

Belvedere vodka with coke and gin with leminade was £25.

2 ciders were a tenner, a much cheaper option.

Music was very good though.

Nice atmosphere in this small jazz cafe. The place is situated downstairs, it has a bar area and an area for were the stage is located. There are roughly 15-20 low tables that will give you a good view on the musicians. There are also other spaces where you can also listen to the music a bit further away from the stage. So there you can also have a conversation but also listen to the music. We saw a young ensemble yesterday, full of energy and good music taste. Our kids 15 and 18 also enjoyed it a lot.

We visited this place on a cold November midweek evening. Who would have thought we could descend into an underground cavern in Poland and hear an american blues singer with his band which included a polish bassist and a french guitarist. We had fabulous pizzas, a small table near the front and great local beer. In the middle of the UK Brexit trash-talk (the vote took place two days later) this was a real meeting of cultures and demonstrated how much we can value and celebrate one another. Somehow it all felt a little illicit! What an evening! Don’t miss this place.

Found this place out first night in Krakow. We had a great night here. The live jazz was amazing in a very comfortable setting. This place has a very authentic jazz feel.
The drinks are great prices and the staff are very friendly. The bar is located right on the old town square. Great time to be had here.

We visited Harris Piano jazz bar twice for some live jazz. The music was very good, and drinks were fine. The venue gets really busy so a reservation is definitely recommended. Not the most comfortable seats!

I really enjoyed the gig on Saturday. Music was superbly good and so the ambient.
I would totally go again as soon as I return to Krakow.
The only negative point is that food is managed very poorly; we ordered 2 pizzas and it took almost 2 hours to get it - this needs to surely be improved. We were also asked to pay for the gig ticket during the night, which was a rather odd thing to do if you consider that were already at the table having our drinks; maybe it's just me, but it felt odd. The ticket was worth every penny anyway, but I did not expect to pay for it.
My actual score would be 3.5+...

I visited this bar on Saturday night, 20th January with my friend. Being both songwriters we visited this bar for some live music. While the music didn't disappoint the service was the worst I've experienced in Krakow, and this is coming from someone who used to live and work in the city. When we approached the bar the guy behind gave us a quick look and proceeded to completely ignore us despite knowing I wanted to order. He seemed too busy trying to look cool, you know the type, despite the bar being practically empty as it was quite early. Then to make matters worse, when a Polish couple walked in he immediately went to serve them and smirked over at us...unbelievable! Finally, 39 minutes later, a pleasant waitresses came to us, took our order and seemed to scold the barman for his behavior. It ruined my night, life is too short for that nonsense so I left after one drink. So sad that one of the most famous and renowned music venues in Krakow is ruined by the type of staff they choose to employ.

What a great place! Had some nice food and beer outside in a bustling square before heading downstairs @9:30 to the packed cellar for some jazz. Get there a touch earlier if you want a decent perch.

I've been here a few times during Krakow jazz festivals as the best bands perform here. It's cramped with terrible uncomfortable seating. The bar is adjacent to the venue area with people in the bar chatting and laughing loudly while the performance is on. The only toilet is at the back of the performance area so people from the bar regularly walk through the performance to get to the toilet. I've no idea why this place gets the best bands, three are other places in Krakow that are better suited to this kind of event. Maybe it's due to it's character, but I expect the festival keep using this place just because they always have. It's embarrassing for Krakow that decent performers should have to get on the stage here and perform in such bad conditions.
