In the city center of Krakow - right next to the Town Hall Tower - in the Main square you shall found the work of Igor Mitoraj - an almost 2 tone bronze statue that is showing a male head without eyes , bandaged over his face and lying on the right side as you are facing it.
It is an interesting artistical expression and if you are familiar with the work of Igor Mitoraj you will realize that it is present in his work to show pieces of the human body, statues that resemble the statue fragments that remained from the ancient time.
Overall an interesting work of art - definitely worth toping for a few minutes and a picture.

Another part of the main square which l believe is definitely worth a visit while in Krakow. The large hollow bronze head sculpture which lies on its side can be found near the town hall tower. Photography can be challenging at times as is popular with other tourist and groups climbing inside and standing in front of the sculpture having there photo taking. Being patience and waiting to take my shots it gave me the opportunity to appreciate the sculpture and the Cloth Hall in the background its stunning to see day or at night time.

A beautiful piece of artwork - amazing it is so accessible. Children tend to play in the head, so best to go when bit quieter

If you are visiting Rynek Glowny Central Square in Krakow then you really can't miss Eros Bound...actually it's hard to miss as it is massive, surreal and sits quite out of place with everything else in the medieval square.
It is located right outside the base of the Town Hall. It seems the sculpture of the head of Eros has been controversial since it was installed but has pretty much taken up permanent residency in the square. It's full name is Eros Bendato and is by Polish artist Igor Mitroy.
Popular photo stop and children's playground, and worth a few minutes to view when visiting Krakow.

This large hollow bronze head sculpture, generally referred to a "the Head" lays on its side on the western corner of the Market Square next to the large Town Hall Tower. Its official name is "Eros Bendato" (Eros Bound) and is the work of Polish artist Igor Mitoraj (1944 - 2014).
We used the head as a meeting point, but apparently so does everybody else. There are some benches nearby where one can sit. The head is popular with tourists, but as we found out it's not easy to shoot a "clean" picture without a person posing in from of it.

This statue is like a magnet, people flock to it for that photo, it’s literally on the floor alongside the town hall tower, it a striking statue, and well worth seeking out.

Among Kraków’s most well-known landmarks, this sculpture in the western corner of the market square is a popular meeting place and at some point, serves as a photographic backdrop for almost every tourist who visits the city
