The Tour Guide was very pleasant and helpful. The bus journey was comfortable and bus was immaculately clean.
We split into 2 groups once we got to Autszwitch. The extra guide was equally pleasant, helpful and informative.
Charges apply for using the toilets. Toilets at Birkenau were disgusting, particularly when we had to pay to use. No sign of a cleaner. Could do with a little more time to use the toilet and browse the bookstore.
Overall a worthwhile experience.

Booked via "get my guide". Pick up and transportation to site well organised. Our guide Konrad stayed with us throughout the journey and visit, providing a passionate, knowledgeable commentary as we walked the haunting paths and buildings that is testament to man's inhumanity to man. A "must" visit for anyone on holiday to Kracow.

Konrad kept us wonderfully informed at every step and David drove the coach amazingly.
The tour is conducted by different staff at the site and our guide is very informative and interesting. It’s a sad but eye-opening experience.
Also the coach drive we got to see outside of the city.
A fair bit of walking to do on the day. There’s cafes and toilets available near the car parks.

We booked the Krakow: Auschwitz Guided Tour with Lunch and Pickup 2 weeks before the tour but less than 24 hours before the tour, we were told it was cancelled due to insufficient guides. That’s it. No further explanation, no service recovery, nothing. We requested to understand the situation a bit more and to see if we could join other time slots but all we got was “I can only apologise for the problem”. Tried calling but lines were busy. Left our number but no one called back. If we live in EU, we could probably find time to come back but we don’t, we only had that 1 day. We can understand that it was Easter weekend and probably crazy busy/understaffed but what we were rather disappointed in was the lack of service recovery or explanation. Fortunately we found another provider that had the last 3 slots but at such a last minute, tickets were twice as much and we had to shift the entire day’s plans. We are grateful that the other provider was fantastic though.

The tour they sell is very simple in practice. They drive you to the choisen place without any guidnes on the way (40-90 min) At the coisen place the driver give you some instrouction where to go and meet the logal guide (who is not from their own company) and when you have to show up for the bus back to your place. That means: They have bought a tickett for you with guidness and they drive you. Thats all their service. You can easly do this by your self.

In their broucheres they don´t mention any price of their trips. They recoomend people to book a tour at the reception desk in your hotel. Ok, no problem of that... BUT when you have booked they tell you the only way to pay is by cash and you have to pay your ticket in cash to the driver of their bus. After you have done that they refuse to give you a receipt for your money.

I have been working in tourist buisness for years in my country and if I woulde dare to behave like this, the tax authorities would show up at my office and search my accounting! Be course this is unleagle in my country and propably also in Polland.

In the bus I was in there was at least 60 other people, probably all of them paying in cash. We call that in my country "Black money"- money without receip that proof the company is paying taxis of the ticket sale. I asked the driver for receip for the money I paid, but he refused. He said it was not possible to do that (sic!).

After the trip I went to a very small Ice cream shop and bought an ice cream... and got a receip for it, amount 12 PLN and clearly mentioned that was with 0,92 PLN sale tax includet. Why can´t Krakowbooking do that? Guess...?

I´m wondering if the tax authorities know about the buisness behaving of this company?

Firstly, we found it very difficult to find the car. The pick up location is a very busy street, there were lots of buses obscuring the car initially, but we did manage to find it. The tour started out well. The commentary was interesting, the sights are gorgeous. There was an opportunity to hop off the car to see the dragon statue near its cave, which was an unexpected surprise and nice to see in action (I won't say any more so I don't spoil it!). The tour then continued for a while and we reached a couple of optional add-ons. This process became very confusing - the group nearest the front of the car loudly rejected the first museum stop, not really giving anyone further back the opportunity to speak up and say they would actually like to have a look. Then we arrived at Schindler's Factory. We knew this was an optional add-on at the time of booking and my partner and I had already discussed that we wouldn't go in, as I've been before and he wasn't particularly interested. The rest of the group initially did seem to want to go in and waited outside and the driver informed us that she would be back with us in about twenty minutes to finish the tour, and then she would return to pick up the other guests from the museum. However, the other guests then changed their minds and asked the driver to take them to a square with a bar in the Jewish quarter instead. The driver obliged, dropped them off, and then asked if we were ending the tour here too. We were baffled as this was not the agreed final drop off point and we were only two hours into what was advertised as a three hour tour (I'm now wondering if this actually means that it will be three hours only if you take up the optional extras - this is not clear at the time of booking). I asked if there was any more to the tour and any more commentary, to which the answer was not clear and then in the end we agreed to end the tour in this unexpected location out of sheer awkwardness. Bits of the tour really were brilliant, but I am honestly still very baffled and confused by the entire situation...

Excellent tour with quite a few stops and well worth doing especially if you only there a few days. Some people on the trip had tried to book tickets online for Schindlers Factory and told that there were none left so our guide went into the factory herself and got tickets.Wrap up well if going in the winter although they are heated but can be drafty.

We’ve been to Auschwitz with this organised tour. The pick up was not bad on time and the bus was quite clean and tidy. Unfortunately it was not a tour but a marathon: about 30 people, 1 hour and half in Auschwitz and 1 hour in Birkenau, the guide wasn’t prepared for any question walking so fast it was hard even to take pictures- where possible- all the tour with headphones to listen a flow of words you could have read on the site guide by yourself. The camps are sites where you don’t only need to have a look but to think about what happened there, a little bit of silence from time to time during the tour would have been much appreciated.
Said that..spend money for a personal tour not a group one it does worth every euros - you would have a better experience- definitely a must if you go to Krakow.

Everyone needs to visit a place like this. It should be compulsory for every child to provide an understanding of what misguided human beings are capable of doing to others. We can’t forget otherwise history will repeat itself, actually it already is in many places in this world of ours.
