One of my favourite statue's in Krakow is the one in honour of Poitr Skrzynecki .
Located on Rynek Glowny ,this great statue of Poitr Skrzyncki ( 1930- 1997 ) the work of sculptor's Grazyna Borkowska Niemojewska & Lukasz Niemojewski and unveiled in 2000 shows this legendary figure of the Polish arts scene in the 1950's sat outside Vis A Vis Bar with coffee looking out onto the beautiful Rynek Glowny, a director, screenwriter, actor and owner of the legendary cabaret theatre called Piwnica Pod Baranami ( Celler Under The Rams ) ,its a very well detailed statue, very photogenic, a perfect selfie opportunity and when we visited someone had placed fresh flowers in his lapel and hand, easy to locate on Rynek Glowny, its facing the stunning statue Eros Bound and well worth checking out if you're in the Old Town of Krakow.

Piotr Skrzynecki was a famous Polish art director and choreographer. He passed away in 1997 but is now eternally sitting sharply dressed and often with flowers in his hand outside a café at the main square.

He is a bit difficult to find though - the exact address is Rynek Glowny - this is on the opposite of the Basilica - on the long side running where the Town Hall Tower stands, His little setting is really like the first table outside the window of the Vis a Vis bar - that should help.

You can actually sit down with him as there is a free chair opposite - but only for a very quiet tête à tête as it only has room for two people.

Interesting interactive piece of art and a great way to honor the artist.

Daft little statue in the square. Not sure who he is, but in reality it doesn’t matter as it’s nothing more than a pleasant way yo spend 1 minute and get a little selfie or photo opp.

The founder of the Cellar Under the Rams cabaret, a tribute to this man exists in the form of a statue placed outside on the restaurants surrounding Rynek Glowny. A table carved of metal and his coffee sits alongside and you can as well sit down and have a coffee with him.

Don’t expect any conversation though. Although of a cheerful disposition the chap won’t say much.

But he sits outside one of the cafes in the main square. Sit down and have a cappuccino with him!!! He’s not much of a talker. 😁

While in the Main Market Square with our Polish hosts, we visited the monument for Piotr Skrzynecki (1930–1997), described as a Polish choreographer and director, cabaret impresario, and best known for his involvement with the cabaret Piwnica pod Baranami (Cellar under the Rams), of which he was the founder. After taking a couple of photographs, we moved on, but we made it a point to visit Piwnica pod Baranami (Cellar under the Rams) for a drink.
