The museum is well laid out.
All the rooms have information sheets in many languages to explain the exhibits.

The no.1 you must see in Kielce - the Bishops palace with its small but lovely garden. The palace today is museum, with very good preserved original rooms, furniture, tapestries... If you are in a group, you get a guide (in various languages) or you can come alone and in every room there are very good prepared materials, where you can read information about everything in the room. There is also quite large picture gallery with Polish painters - this gallery is very good organized and I really love it. Usually you can also visit some of temporary exhibits.
So I really recommend to visit this museum. The staff is very nice and helpful.

I haven’t be there for ages. For my boyfriend was the first visit in the city. We really enjoyed the garden. Unfortunately we couldn’t come inside the building. Definitely need to do it next time when we’ll visit Kielce!

The museum is the no. 1 turist attraction in the region. We hired a private tour guide and she was amazing. For over 90 min she walked through various rooms and explained many exhibits, which walking alone we would had probably ignored and paid no attention too. We learned many historical facts ranging from table cloth ironing to hidden passages in the castle. Absolutely worth visiting. It was one of the best museum we have visited in Poland.

Well preserved and renovated. The biggest tourist attraction in Kielce, worth seeing definitely. It's not massive and very opulent but it's party of Kielce history and shows roots of modern church power in the city.

Unfortunately, the museum had closed for the day, but we were able to access the gardens which were laid out beautifully. The building itself is also very impressive and its situation alongside the cathedral makes it worth just looking.

Although there are different things to do in Kielce, the National museum is the must to visit. Situating in the bishop palace, the museum offers you the best possible exposition of the interiors and the fine collection of the polish painting (among others Boznańska and Wyspiański). I really loved those 4 hrs (!!!) spent there.

It is a great place to see. The guides are very knowledgeable. Pictures are allowed in some parts. There is also gorgeous garden around the Museum.

Be sure to check their website or call before visiting. We did not and found the museum closed for renovations. The staff were as helpful as possible - they opened the one small room that was available for us at no charge. Also the Italian gardens were open, also free admission.

I have visited this place during the week and paid very little for it (like, 1 zloty). Very, very nice. There's a lot to see and the people who work there are really kind.
