About
Kadzielnia is Kielce’s most famous old quarry. The area, as the Kadzielnia Park and Reserve, covers about 14 ha. The central part of Kadzielnia, the Skałka Geologów (Geologists’ Rock) is under legal protection as an inanimate nature reserve. The remaining part of the area is protected within the Kielce Protected Landscape Area. It is worth mentioning and emphasizing that in the vicinity of the reserve is located, among others, the famous amphitheater, where numerous entertainment events take place. A new and very interesting attraction in this area is the Underground Tourist Route. Kadzielnia is a place with an interesting history, rich resources of animated nature, but most of all, a place that you must visit when you are in Kielce. You can spend a nice time here, relaxing while walking among the rocks, where the history of the tropical sea from hundreds of millions of years ago has been recorded.

beautiful reserve almost in the center of the city. Great views breathtaking. Big applause for the creators - many benches and tables. On the spot tyrolka thanks to which you can admire the park from the sky. Very nice place with a magnificent amphitheater. Large parking, lots of space. Also toilets.

You can visit cave with guide. Its a stone pit in middle of the town. If you lucky, you can find fossils in here! Great geology travel. :)

The aerial ropeslide is breathtaking! What is crucial it is 100% Safe - you are hooked in all the time till the very end! All ropeslides together are over 600 m long, with the longest track about 300 m long and about 20 m over ground! Nearby there is also a cave worth visiting - only with a guide - you have to book the tour.

It's a great park. Has several different geological forms. There is an underground cave (get tickets in advance). There is a beautiful amphitheater with many concerts, as well as a monuments that are worth seeing. Overall it is very impressive. Often they have many events for families that are great to attend. It is also a great place to take a walk or attend a concert.

I visited in February. I emailed first to see if I could go inside the educational centre ( the cave itself is only open seasonally) but got no reply. I walked around the site but it has the appearance of a disused quarry and in February there is no greenery to cheer it up.

Kadzielnia is natural reserve in old limestone quarry. It is located about 15 minutes walk from city center. It is a great place for walk. Come at the evening because illumination is making it even better. You can also visit there a cave but need to buy tickets.

There are construction works going on which limit access into the base of the quarry. The walk to the monument is litter strewn and not maintained. Didn't visit the caves.

I visitied the park in a time of the year which was not the best one, but I had the luck to enjoy a sunny day. People walk around and is very relaxing. You can go with friends, family or with a book. Really inspiring natural place :)

A bit of green fit for short walk with the family. The cliff views are great, as is the water surrounding the main cave. Pleasant amount of shade offered by trees amongst which are foot paths.
