The best place to visit on any occasion! Great atmosphere, impressive collection and lots of interesting information. Mister Leszek takes real care to entertain his guests. He's really passionate about music and made my boyfriend want to start to play again.

Had an amazing time at this guitar museum today, the guy was absolutely brilliant and knew everything there was to know about guitars, even let you have a play on them. Well worth a visit even if you're not that in to guitars. Absolutely loved it. Over 100 guitars from all over the world. Brilliant.

Found this place through TripAdvisor and we were delighted that we took the time to visit.
It was quick and easy to arrange a tour with the owner who was extremely proud of his collection and delighted to show us around, let us play the instruments and talk us through their history.
Highly recommended for anyone interested in music. A great way to spend an hour or two in Katowice.

We were looking for a unusual place to visit as we have been to thousands of traditional museum all over the world. This one is quite special! The owner told us about all the guitars, made a small gig on some of them and even let us play on exhibits.

Small museum, hundreds of stories! You don't have to be a guitar player to enjoy a visit at this place and spend at least two hours there! It was enjoyable because you can play the instruments, the owner and guide was very friendly and had an excellent sense of humour. A fine museum with a real personal touch - a hidden gem in Katowice!
Małe muzeum pełne ciekawych historii opowiedzianych z ogromnym poczuciem humoru. Nie tylko dla wielbicieli gitary! Perełka wśród katowickich muzeów. Warto zarezerwować co najmniej dwie godziny na wizytę.

As has been mentioned before, make sure you have enough time to fully enjoy this collection of guitars. The owner's enthusiasm makes the whole thing truly magical. Without him this museum would just be a bunch of instruments hanging on the wall. But he tells you about each one (how he got it, its general history, how to play it, how to tune it or how he fixed it - as many had been damaged) and then lets you play it, which can result in some amazing jam sessions! This is a magical place for guitar players and instrument lovers.

I have been to many music instruments museum in the world, and a lot of them are just a display of instruments that you can’t touch, you can’t hear and you forget after visiting. This museum is different. The owner Leszek is an amazing guy, who is enthusiastic to explain and demonstrate his collection of instruments. And visitors can try and play music on these instruments, in which I learnt a lot during the visit. Thanks very much for the experience! Tips for visitors, please remember to book in advance by phone.
