It takes a while to get there, so prepare for a long walk always up, but it is definitey worth it.
It took us the whole day to wlak from the entrance to the National park - first to the Morskie Oko lake and then to the Three ponds and back - around 30 km in total - but it's a thing to remember for the rest of Your life

Śląsk is not only a place with many mines and heavy industry. This is also a province with many great places to ride a bicycle. Valley of Three Ponds is one of best examples. If you don't ride a road bike, I highly recommend go to neighboring forests with many pleasant paths, perfect for a hot day outside the city. Passing most of the paths takes something about 2-3 hours.

It is a nice green spot on the map of Katowice. Whether you want to bike, play tennis or volleyball or roller-skate, it would be just perfect for you. And if you just want to walk around in some nice surroundings or have a nice picnic, you will not find a better place in the neighborhood. I strongly recommend it to all who can enjoy some outdoor leisure.

The park's main entry is 3 km Southeast of the city center near the 3 Stawy shopping center, which is also the location of the nearest bicycle rental station (rather inconvenient for access to the park). It is a large recreational area, excellent for sports such as jogging and roller skating, but also for cycling and running (in the summer even swimming).
Combine a visit with going to to Nikiszowiec, the historic mining settlement on the other side of the park and Katowice's number 1 attraction.

This city is very beautiful. It is very small in the city centre so really you can see it within one day, but one of my favourite parts was enjoying the park just outside, Valley of three ponds, enjoying the beer garden and the beach for a swim! Highly recommend for a nice summer day and some relaxation!

Visited this in January 2022 with snow on the ground, absolutely beautiful place. If your feeling keen lace up your walking boots and walk around all of the lakes, a big day but you'll be rewarding with glimpses of all sorts of wildlife.

We had a walk starting in the Kosciusko Park, going through the Forest Park past the aerodrome to the Valley of the Three Ponds. This is quite a green part of this industrial city, but as we were there on a rainy winter day, it was still rather gray and dark. Probably much more pleasant in summer!

If you want to walk in a peaceful environment go walking along the lakes. There are nice pavements and even for wheelchair users.

Pozdrawiam

Zadałem to pytanie z zamierzeniem i celowo. Dolina Trzech Stawów to integralna część Muchowca (dzielnica Katowic).
Pozdrawiam
