a/ take the map and a booklet of the building in the tourist office near the train station. b/ there are magnificent building but most of them are not preserved - so you have to look through them. c/ rent a bike in front of the tourist office and you'd see them more efficiently and have fun.

The route takes you around the southern part of the city centre, with numerous buildings of that architectural style. There are interactive kiosks with some information on the way, sadly many of them are constantly being damaged. And not every place on the route is particularly appealing. It's rather only for people interested in architecture and I also wouldn't recommend venturing there late in the evening if you're a foreigner.

Follow some of the architecture master pieces

The route follows some of the best examples of modernism in Katowice, which is one of the places that revolutionized modern architecture. There is a bunch of computer terminals around town which explain everything about the buildings seen, they are interactive, you can click around, change the languages. I guess not a bad way to spend EU money. ;)

Nice walk

We used a paper map from the tourist information office to locate the properties and were told on the paper that further details were available about the properties on interactive screens as you walked around. Sadly we didn't find one interactive screen working and as such missed out on a lot of detail, shame it isn't on an audio guide.
