About
Tourist Information Centre is run by the Promotion Department of Katowice City Hall together with the Silesian Tourist Organisation. Additionally, Center's offering a lot of free promotion materials, tourist maps, and publications relating to history and culture of the City. On the spot it is also possible to listen to a free audio guide during the tour of Katowice.

Very well informed English speaking staff ready to help with information and support. Could even use the phone to sort out a problem with the bicycle rental system. Pleasant people and efficient.

two ladies that don't seem to be doing much, some leaflets and maps (many of them informative and useful), nothing out of the ordinary

Hello
I am looking on your site for interesting older buildings and history in the older parts of the city. My plans to stay with my cousin have disintegrated so my husband and I need so inexpensive accommodation.

Hi Yvonne,
Currently I am staying at Sentral Apartments and previously in Hostel Katowice Centrum (both low budget). I moved because the latter was fully booked. The Tourist Office has a list with all different options. Prices for a double room in central Katowice start at 90 zloty. Unfortunately Tripadvisor does not allow sharing of information about booking sites or email addresses.
So you would have to google...
