A large palm house with countless exotic plants, a very pleasant place to spend an hour or so. Quite unnecessary to torment the poor animals by putting them in such small cages though...

We visited here on a Sunday and , it proved to be very popular with families with young children but , despite that , it accommodated us all very comfortably . As we are OAP's , the entrance fee was only £1.50 pp. We enjoyed our visit and spent about an hour there . There was a good variety of tropical plants to see including flowers and fruit plus , some animals and fish also .

As we were visiting a friend in the area, she brought us to this site. We have visited many similar places, but I was pleasantly surprised to see some plants that I had not seen before. It was a well kept facility with beautiful plants and greenery. My kids enjoyed seeing the animals within the site, probably would have liked to see more! We came a bit late in the day, so while it was open for an hour past the time we left, it had begun to get dark outside and there were no lights within the facility for the areas we were walking, so it's best to go earlier in the day. Not a bad way to spend an hour or two though.

To be honest, I am in a shock! This place is really magnificent and wonderful! There you can open a small part of the huge world, and it's really cool. I strongly recommend this place for all types of people 😊

The Palm Tree Garden is a covered enclosure for exotic plants located in Chopin Park, next to Zwycięstwa street. In the same park there's also a monument dedicated to Chopin as well as a modern monument dedicated to the victims of the first world war, placed where an older one once was located.

The garden is filled with exotic trees, bushes and plants. Part of it is dedicated to cacti. There are also some birds, lizards, ants etc inside, as well as there's a big aquarium where, at least some time ago, very nice rays were kept.

There are some summer concerts in front of the garden.

Within a short walk from the railway station, you can visit a big greenhouse with a lot of tropical plants including bananas (with fruits), palm trees and a large number of cactus species. The birds in the cages add some "tropical" feeling. Some people find it hard to birds. It is not possible for these species to live outside in Gliwice. I suggest they should write similar opinions for fish in the aquarium - let them go instead of Tanganyika lake to Odra river.

This is the place where you take your kids to do something for them. Located in very nice park where you can spend some time playing. Palmiarnia is one of the kind tropical garden with fish tanks.

Did not like the fact that they have birds in cages. Small cages to make it even worse. There's no need to have caged animals there, or anywhere for that matter. I will not be going back there.

I was pleasantly surprised visiting Palmiarnia after 20 years. The place has a great ‘nature’y’ vibe with hot climate and tropical plants and fish. It’s small but cheap and cheerful if you fancy a nice walk amongst nature. My highlight was certainly the aquarium with massive colourful fish. The cafe but upstairs served nice cakes and treats but the service wasn’t great. The lady behind the counter was not a friendly person. Overall for a 10 zlotych (£2,20) defo worth your time.
Stand on one of the Palmiarnia’s bridges and stear at beautiful fish or sit on a bench under a bamboo. And relaxxxx.

Great place to see and spend some time both in the park and inside. You can see a lot of plants from all over the world and on top of that you can see a few aquariums.
