I loved this place from my first visit. Excellent bookseller, wisely advises what to read. All this is accompanied by outstanding coffee and perfect sweets. The atmosphere of this place cannot be forgotten. It is worth snuggling into this cosiness.

It is neither too big nor too small, cute and delicious place. The decoration is very warm and the service includes friendly faces :)

Really unique place. Good cakes, good choice of coffee, great and welcomimg service and a very particular atmosphere, drinking coffee surrounded by thousands of books. Very nice and original decoration

A nice little bookstore/cafe, which is named after Kornel Filipowicz, a writer and a great admirer of the region (he grew up in Cieszyn) who's more widely known for being Wislawa Szymborska's life partner :) They serve great hot chocolate and organize meetings with authors. There's coffee, sweets, new and used books, there's book crossing...what more can you want.

They serve best coffee in Cieszyn and cakes are delicious. Slow atmosphere and loads of books (some you can buy, some are only to be read on spot) make this place definitely worth a visit.

Wow! This is such an adorable little cafe. The interior is like the most gorgeous 'library of old' that you could imagine. Books line the walls and shelves, creating cosy wee spots to sample the outstanding cakes with your coffee. And we are talking awesome coffee! The lovely staff member spoke English brilliantly and recommended cakes to us. Great choices and all for a very reasonable price.
This is one of the best cafes we have ever been to, pretty much perfect in every way. You should definitely come here if you are ever in Cieszyn!!

I'd been missing and dreaming of a place like this in Cieszyn for a long time and it's finally there! A place with a soul, where you can sip coffee, read books, relax and feel well. It's got a really amazing atmosphere, a cosy and lovely interior (you can see that the owner paid attention to every single detail; I love the old tables and chairs and the photos of writers on the walls). When you go there, you can be sure you will read or a buy a good book - only such are offered. I also like the choice of coffees, hot chocolates, and shakes. I only wish there were more books in English and other languages (most are in Polish of course), but that's changing too. So, if you want to unwind, drink something delicious, and read something really good - visit Kornel!

Na pierwszy rzut oka można powiedzieć, że lokal nie jest przystosowany. Nie jest jednak wykluczone, że obsługa ma w zanadrzu jakieś tajemne sztuczki. Pracują tam bardzo sympatyczni ludzie, więc pewno pomogą.
