We walked here from our hotel in Szczecin on a hot day. It was worth the long walk! There is a pretty church with a lake which is very quiet at around 8pm (the cemetary closes at 9pm). There I also a monument to the people who lost their lives in World War 2. That part of the cemetary is... More

What a wonderful place! It felt very different from any cemetery I have been to, set in a very old wood the atmosphere was so surreal, very interesting to see other cultures take on things.

This cemetery is massive! It is impossible to describe how big it is but it's probably about 200 football pitches. Also, remember... More

So you'll see how important this is for catholic poles and how much effort that is put into keeping the graves in order. Secondly this cemetery is a place for history and remembrance. There is... The cemetery is so big that there is actually an app to help you find the grave you are looking for! It's very well maintained and beautiful to wander through , and it also has a history trail with monuments and information that you can follow (unfortunately not in English). After visiting I can understand why it is the top... More

I was stunned by the size and landscape that they have for this cemetery! It's definitely more than a cemetery- absolutely gorgeous for Autumn strolls esp seeing the autumn leaves falling down from the trees!
