I had a nice experience, the tickets were very cheap and the seller was very friendly. We walked up to the top and had a nice view of Sopot. When we came down, we received a cute little certificate. It takes maybe 7 minutes at the most to go up to the top (I'm out of shape). Regardless, I liked it.

This did not really look like a lighthouse and was not in a position you would expect to find a lighthouse - plus the entrance is in a kind of souvenir shop. However very friendly ticket vendor and the tickets are really cheap. There are quite a few steps up to the top but you do get a good view over the beach and pier. Was only a short visit, as not really anything else to see, but if If you are in Sopot then worth a climb to the top.

You will find the ticket seller in the little shop next door. In our case he was a little camouflaged, young chap with def metal T-shirt and long hair :-) We bought our tickets and started the climb up the windy stairs. Great views from above and overview of Sopot. When the weather is good take the time to stop by.

Greeted by a very welcoming man at the entrance to the lighthouse, visiting cost 5pln per person and it offers a great view of Sopot. Well worth visiting for the cost, and offered a certificate at leaving as a souvenir!

The location of this lighthouse is such that you can see it from all central places i Sopot. Unfortunately we could not see that the lighthouse had an active lantern at night. If you take the tour to the top there is an excellent view of the bay area.

you climb up some stairs and have a really nice view over Sopot and the pier. it is only 5 zl and when we went up we were totally on our own. it is a nice place to look down on the loads of people walking through the street and just being up there in the quiet

The lighthouse building is very quaint and marks the end of Monte Cassino Street and the start of the construction leading to beautiful Sopot pier. You can take a trip to the top of the lighthouse for 5 Zloti (about £1 or $1.30 as of March 2017) and I believe a certificate of achievement is presented at the end. I personally didn't go up because I've not got a head for heights, but it's an inexpensive attraction and probably worth the money. I believe you get a discount for groups of more than 10, so if you're travelling with a lot of friends and want to do something together, then this might well be a fun option.

Sopot Lighthouse ( Latarnia Morska W Sopicie ) is one of the standout landmarks in Sopot.
Built between 1903 and 1904 for the Balneological Institute it no longer serves as a lighthouse but it is open to the public and for a very modest fee you can climb the tower and at 33 metres high your guaranteed unparalleled views of the town of Sopot and the beach and sea.
Very easy to locate ,it's smack bang in the centre of Sopot beach.
Well worth checking out.
