Good for a photo but nothing else really
Unusual looking building with its wonky windows. Almost didn't find it as the front was slightly obscured by trees. Not really much to see - worth taking a photo. We went inside expecting something interesting but there were just a couple of little shops and a coffee place and then a few more stalls - we walked all the way through and came out the other side of the building - little disappointing, just a photo op from the outside and little more.

Try to catch it in winter
The trees in front are very unimpressive and detract from the house. I'm sure it looks much better in the winter when the leaves are gone. I'm glad I saw it, but I wouldn't recommend making a special trip if you're not already in the area.

    Coffee shop
I very much agree with Aida G's review - the reality doesn't quite match the pictures you see online of the Crooked House, as there are trees in front partly obscuring the view. It's certainly quirky and has no doubt put Sopot on the map. The Crooked House is actually a small shopping mall and its front is a branch of Costa Coffee. It is of course worth seeing if you are in Sopot (it's close to the main square at the lower end of ul Monte Cassino - follow the signs from the railway station) but not worth going out of your way to see it.

Crooked House was built in Sopot at Bohaterow Monte Cassino Street . Designed by the architects Szotynski and Zaleski, inspired by the drawings of Jan Marcin Szancer and Per Dahlberg. On the ground floor there are commercial area , you will find several gastronomic and alcohol places. Visually interesting and distinctive form from the outside. The building took first place on the list of the 50 strangest buildings in the world, published by the Village of Joy Portal . Interesting architecture from the outside , being in Sopot you can not pass by him indifferently. In fact, because of the trees that grow in front of the house, you can hardly see it.

the shape encompasses the quirkiness that the building displays. it is a famous landmark and houses a proper retail market inside. time to take out your camera and capture this much talked about building in Sopot. also, it is on the way of the key street to Sopot Pier so by default you get to visit.

the place and the design is amazing .
but the big surprise after all this Amazing Architecture is covered with two trees in the middle so you do not see anything .
just wondering what was the rational to implant two trees in front of the house
I came to see it and have some pictures :)
but Sopot itself worth visiting amazing city

I saw a few buildings with similar architecture in Europe so nothing new to me personally. But I can understand that the town wanted to build not usual cafe but something new in the area. And the tourists, probably also locals, like it. We haven't been inside so I cannot comment on the interior.

Visiting the Crooked House for a second time, left me feeling disappointed. The house is now a coffee house and gift shop.
You could not see the house because of the giant tree blocking the view.

The house looks pretty cool and some friends said it looks like a work of Salvador Dali. They were disappointed though, when I told them, that there is nothing to see there, it is just a bussiness place, with a Costa Coffee.

This is touted as one of the most visited sites in Poland, but it is not all that special. It is interesting to look at, but it isn't spectacular. The local people think it is hokey, and tourists when they see it are likely to say "So what?"

Sopot is a fun place to visit. While you're there, have fun looking at the exterior of the Crooked house. It's unusual and will remind you of the Gaudi buildings in Barcelona. There are other Art Nouveau buildings you can wander by and admire. Take a stroll down the pier and keep an eye out for pre-wedding couples out to take wedding pics in their gowns and tuxes! A walk along the shore will lead you to encounters with swans which make for great nature shots.

An interesting idea in the middle of city. Quite different from any other building in Sopot. A good spot for a quick photo or selfie!

This place is stupid. It was purposely built in 2004, as a fun attraction for tourists to take pictures of, but you can't even see it, because it's covered off by two huge trees. The only time you can see it is in winter and spring, when the trees have no leaves, but there are no tourists then, which defeats the entire purpose of building it in the first place.
All pictures I've seen of this house, were taken when the trees had no leaves. I didn't notice the trees, until I looked closely at a postcard of it. We kept asking people how to get there, and couldn't find it, becuase the trees were blocking it. Seriously. We must've walked by this thing 5 times. I finally spotted it on the way back, and realized the trees were blocking it this whole time.
I went inside, and there is nothing there except restaraunts, and stores.
If you want to attract tourists with this place, cut down those two huge trees, so that they can actually see it.
Stupidest attraction I've ever seen.
