I had the pleasure of visiting the Land of 44 Islands accessible from Grodzisko in Lubin, and I am delighted with this place. It is the perfect spot for all nature lovers. The views from the terraces are breathtaking. On vast open spaces, you can calmly enjoy the views of the lakes.
One of the charms of this place is a small café that allows you to sit, drink coffee or other refreshing beverages, and simultaneously enjoy the views without even having to go outside. This is an ideal solution for those who are less mobile. There are also benches where you can sit and admire the beauty of the lakes from a distance.
The Land of 44 Islands is a unique region that has formed over more than 300 years. The Świna River, with its unusual flow direction, often flows backward inland during strong winds. The silt and sand deposited this way create numerous small islands.
Most of the islands are marshy and undeveloped, although some are used for grazing cows and horses. The Świna Delta is largely protected by the Wolin National Park. This area is home to over 140 species of wild birds, including aquatic warblers, white-tailed eagles, kites, corncrakes, and ruffs.
I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to escape the daily hustle and bustle and get closer to nature. The Land of 44 Islands is a true treasure worth discovering.

A beautiful place. A wonderful view of the Szczecin Lagoon and charming marshy islands. A habitat for birds and water animals. There is also a cafe and an ice cream parlor there. This is a model place, especially on a beautiful day. I encourage everyone to go there. The experience is incredible.

It is not this easy to find it. You have to go to the end on Lubin road and walk uphill. The view is spectacular. You can see many islands of Swinoujscie as well as the Baltic Sea in the background.

With a good local friend I had the pleasure of a few hours at this enchanted location before returning to Berlin with the luxurious Regional train via Szczecin.. One sees below, more than 60 meters, the expanse of the vast water known as the Stettin Haff.I had delicious waffles with chocolate and whipped cream, excellent coffee. One of the prettiest spots in this area!

A beautiful viewpoint and cafeteria. We definitely enjoyed a stunning panorama of the lagoon with a cup of coffee and some food.
Consider taking binoculars – this is a great spot for bird watching and there are plenty of species living in the area.

Normally you can look at lake or any other view for free. This time you have to pay. Countryside with Zalew Szczeciński looks great but should I have too pay for such a view?
