Unexpected beauty

Honestly speaking, one of the nicest places I have been and something you will not find elsewhere in the world so easily. You will feel like you are in the desert (without the hot temperature) and it is one of the top nature places we have been (we travelled also in Asia, Australia, USA and South America).

Sand Dunes Leba, Poland-Splendid View
Sep 2020
Sand Dunes Leba, Poland is a very beautiful place to visit. A long walk along the Sand. Must place to see in summer. One side of the dunes Lake is there and another side Sea is there.

To arrive at the place you need to reach Rabka, 8. From there you can take a 5.5 km walk . Other wise you can take a boat till 2.5 km and then from there you can reach the destination via foot. From the Sand dunes you can go to the beach and reach city via beach route which is 8km.

If you travel with toddlers, it is advisable to take the stroller for entire 5.5 km and then keep it down at your own risk before climbing for the dunes.

Crowded but worth visit especially if hiking the coast
Jul 2020 • Family
Once you arrive to parking in Rabka, you can either walk to the dune or take a lift by el.taxi or use boat. We took the boat, the tickets were sold by pier. We visited during Corona time so had to wear mask on the boat. There are 2 boats running there and back nonstop, but still you get to wait some 45mins for next boat if you've just missed one. The ride itself is not too exciting even though interesting. For me it was not worth the pay.
The dune was very crowded when we visited. It looked bit like wide crowded ski slope. Still it was nice to hike up for the view (the area is quite large but one can only walk between the roped area as most is protected).
The best part for us was the hike back to the parking. We walked the beach all the way back it it definitely has unforgettable magic.
We have also swam in the sea, beach by the dune (well, not really swam as the sea is quit shallow) and it was possibly the best bathing along this part of coast we have experienced.

The "Creeping Dunes" of North Poland.
Mar 2020
This place is great for a long walk along the beach. The Creeping Dunes have a high climb to get up to the beach area...so perhaps, more elderly people should be wary as to what path to take to get to the beach.,but well worth it. Make sure you follow the routes to the ebach and then walk back to Leba. Its a 15 km round walk but well worth it in the right weather.

Went there by bike. This was great to see and experience. Quite a climb at the end. Was an enjoyable day
Jul 2019 • Couples
For adults going by bike is OK. If with kids take the electric taxi. Views are stunning. You can also stay at the beach. In that case you should bring you swimming gear. We had 27 degrees Celsius and a little breeze, so we are to be envied. Plan at least 3-4 hours going up and down from Łeba city.

Highlight of Łeba
Jul 2019 • Family
This is surely highlight of Łeba, one 2 see. The best way is to get there by bike.Especially with kids. Pick some for 5PLN/h in the city and then ride west 2km to Rąbka. There is a fee out there - 5pln for an entrance to a National Park. Another 5 km to ride is far better then walking. (there is an option riding there and back wit electric car but is embarrassig. Sands are great to watch...not far to walk around. Just great. 4h overall is far enough with 45' visit on the beach.

Really spectacular
Aug 2018 • Couples
After 30 years around the world for the best travel magazines I was here just on holidays. this impressive coastal system of sandy dunes is really incredible and spectacular, a must to visit. .Unique in all Europe for his grandiosity. We took public transportation (golf carts) because my wife was with a problem in a leg and could not walk too long but i suggest to go on foot to the dunes and then going back to Leba along the beach if you like hicking. If not everibody can use the golf cart service that take you till the base of dunes and back.

Great experience on a very pleasant seaside
Aug 2018 • Couples
Walking back along the beach is highly recommended, and around 5 km long.

You get to Reba by car or low cost taxi from Łeba, then take a sort of electric bus to the foot of the dune. You climb few dozen yards to the top, enjoy the view of the wood and beach being engulfed by dunes then walk over to the seaside where you can walk back to the parking.

As interesting as France's dune de Pyla, much broader if less tall. Plus, the gorgeous walk along the beach, of course.
