Very wide but nothing outstanding
Jun 2021
the beach is very very wide, just huge! the sand is very very soft and light cream colour, but i didn't find anything different or outstanding that I can remember that beach more than others. I have other favourites.

super sand, ice cold water

Not for swimmers, water like liquid oxygen, sand however, white and fine, kids loved it. Better to park and walk, or take a cheap electric taxi

Lovely walk from one end to the other

Great flat walk along the coastline. Make sure you know where you parked your car, and so that you get off the beach at the right place. At some point there, its great to see the beach "eat" into the forestry there, sometimes felling trees in front of you.

The beach is beautiful it is so clean and lots of sand and having the hotel right on the beach is truly a bonus as you can fall asleep listening to the waves so relaxing.

White, powdery fine sands, great for castle projects

Fathers knee-deep in the trenches, with smaller and bigger kids working away on lesser parts of the construction..... beachwalkers like me, who enjoy the endless walking possibility ... the water is shallow, so also great for kids to try their swimming skills (if the weather is not too blustery), beach infrastructure close to Leba, peace and quite farther away... whatever you want. I once walked 12 km into one direction on the beach, from leba to Stilo lighthouse, and also the 8.5 km to the giant sand dune (bother recommened trips). This is a perfect beach!!! And in mid-August not really crowded. be sure to bring your wind-averse gear like tents or the windbreakers also on sale everwhere. not a beach for umbrellas!

Walk A Little For A Lot of Solitude
Aug 2019 • Couples
This is a beautiful beach, with almost no human trash, lots of shorebirds, clean, cold water, and you only need to walk away from the crowds most weekends, and it's easier during the week, to have a quiet area. We walked a total of 16 miles--mostly barefoot--in three days, and can tell you it's a worthwhile destination.

After 30 years around the world for the best travel magazines I was here just on holidays. Because of the dunes of the Park, Leba beach is the most popular of all baltic coast. there is really a lot of people in the town in august. the beach is ok but the real good staff is the park with dunes. Along the coast there are other beaches less crowded.

Well-managed, endless sandy beach between a national park and a nature sanctuary
Aug 2018 • Couples
Water is cold for Southern Europe standards, still we managed to bathe except in the windiest days.
Very shallow as in flat sandy coastlines, and lifeguards where they are active actively stop you from going farther than a dozen metres from the water line, so you barely have enough deep water to swim.
The woods right behind the beach are very well preserved for such a busy location, the community clearly learned from how we ravaged most of our beaches in Italy, or Spain for that matter.

It's a very, very long sandy beach, if you walk far enough along it you can be almost as alone as you want.
Toilets are frequent and clean in serviced areas, there are few bars on the sea and lots some 200 metres inland, behind the fairly well protected wood.

Some areas are less well served and so less crowded, while the best lifeguard-supported stretches are as busy as it gets - there you need to weave your way to the sea and sometimes backtrack as there is no physical room to walk between families.

The area near hotel Neptun also has basket armchairs with full windscreens for rent. The common alternative is to get a windscreen a few metres long and 1 meter high, with wood stakes to stake out your patch.

Then again, if you get there before 10:30 AM you will get a full choice of places as close to the sea as you can possibly want.

Nice beach
Jul 2018 • Family
Nice long beach with smooth sand, but sadly a lot of litter like glass bottles, metal caps, plastic bags and cigarettes. Nobody seems to care but just let their kids play around the trash which for me as a sweed was very strange. Unfortunately this summer also problem with poisonous algal bloom so sometimes red flag.

Nice wide beach
Jul 2018 • Couples
Łeba has a nice, wide beach, ideal for long walks. It's a bit stony in places, like at the Łącka Dune entrance, but not overly so. The beach is clean, reasonably quiet, we had a nice spot to sit, rest and look out across the Baltic Sea.
