Possibly the world's smallest funicular which looks like its got a ferris wheel cabin attached to a section of rollercoaster track! Short ride up to the top with an operator attending to the button-pushing. Its a nice view from the top and plenty of parkland to walk around. Since its free and there's not that much else in Gdynia, why not give it a go?

Charming little ride up to a fabulous viewing point. And it’s free, it’s set in a lovely park overlooking the beautiful Gdynia beach and marina. We walked from here down into the town, great walk I’d highly recommend you take advantage of. Loved it here.

It is for free. Journey takes not longer than one minute. Nice view form Kamienna Góra. Good alternative for family with small children or for older people.

It's worth to do it as a small walk when you ride in Gdynia, but do not expect showing wonderful, this is just fun.

I always enjoyed the views from Kamienna Góra but sometimes it was just too much to climb there especially after a few drinks ;) Now it's super convenient and fast. Queue was not too long so we only waited a few minutes. Quick, free trip to the top and you can admire the view of the city and port. Recommended!

A short and simple monorail to the top of Kamiena Gora, not really a funicular. Generally a queue to use it, and should really be limited to the old, infirm and small children, as the wLk up the steps is quite easy for most.

The distance is too short to enjoy too much still better than nothing - sometimes the line is longer than the trip itself.

I was in Gdansk and decided to have a quick visit to Gydnia. The train was only half an hour but when I got to the Funicular in Gyfnia I was disappointed. Although it was free I expected it to be a lot longer a ride..and the view was just of the harbour with monstrous cruise ships and a crowded beach. I got back on the train . I wouldn't bother again. There really wasn't a lot to Gydnia. Not a patch on beautiful Gdansk.

A pleasant short ride to the top of a hill (which is easily done using the steps) however the view from the top is nice enough, I wouldn't do it twice but recommended for a one off visit.
