The main square in this young city. It is the most known place in Gdynia due to the beautiful scenery it presents. Along the square there are some typical see restaurants and a small fun fair. At the wharf you can see quite impressive warships (impressive for Poles because our fleet is very poor ;) so kids will have attraction for a moment also. Some smaller ships offer cruises.
A bit later there's Oceanary (which you can visit almost anytime) and Maritime School.

This is must if you’re in Gdynia. Good place to go for a walk, with plenty benches and many booths with ice creams, cakes or hot drinks. And amazing “Gift of Pomerania” - sailing ship, build in 1909, now open to public as museum.

Gdansk and its sister city Gdynia, had the most wonderful pier full of amazing sailing ships and a few WW2 war ships, with free Wi-Fi access for tourist and locals alike. There was several buildings dedicated to the workers strike of the 1970’s (remember Lech Walesa) and a wonderful monument to Joseph Conrad, a Polish/British writer (Lord Jim)

Gr8 place. Quiet and beautiful. Indeed, place to be discovered- hopefully never ;) Nice or St Tropez must have been like that 60 or 70 years ago!

This is the most popular place in Gdynia and a must for all visitors. I'm there every year and me and my daughter just love the place. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops, souvenir stores, Sailing ship museum (Dar Pomorza) and Destroyer ship museum (ORP Blyskawica). Also lots of benches and free wifi available on the whole square. A perfect place to spend a summer day. Gdynia beach and Lunapark right next to it

Got off at Gdynia Glowny and walked straight up the road to the very end, quite bracing as was v cold. Saw the warship and the old cutters. Worth while for an hour to kill. Used my turisty transport card to get here and it took 35 mins from gdansk Glowny plus the 25 minute walk up to the harbour

This is the heart of Gdynia. The ship-centered life of the city is fully reflected there, and there are a lot of open spaces to walk around and stores to enjoy coffee or meals.

One of places everyone should visit in Gdynia.
Visit 'Dar Pomorza', fish and chips on fishing boat, aquarium, yachts, great view of beach and CBD.
