on the island called Olowianka. Nice looking architecture of the building, in the middle of a tasteful and nice. A nice terrace. A good restaurant in the middle. A nice outdoor parking and a nice fountain.

Staying in Sopot for 4 nights so checked what was on at the Symphony Hall. Got tickets from the Kasa which is a separate building near the car park entrance on the Thursday for a concert on the Saturday, it was almost sold out, the concert was excellent and so was the Symphony Hall. Easy to access by foot from the centre of Gdansk and from the train station.
People dressed up but no need for shirt and tie, the seats were really comfortable, which was lucky because the concert was 2 hours without an interlude.
Easy to get out and to a restaurant quickly afterwards as well. No huge queues on the stairs, it all just seemed to work very efficiently.
And all for a fraction of the cost of similar concerts in the UK.

Walking distance from Gdansk old town... great musicians, affordable ticket prices (18 zloti or $5 for a piano recital)... Definitely worthwhile to visit for a quick concert before or after dinner.

Constructed in 1897 __ 1898 this building was originally a power station with a great looking Neo Gothic design ,a stunning looking building that untill 1945 when it was nearly completely destroyed by the German army,it was redeveloped post war and is now The Baltic Symphony Hall .
I love the great look of this building and also the stunning riverside location.
Well worth checking out.

I took some photo of the hall from the other side of the river and passed it on same side later but didnt go inside for a look. Nice building. In my NeXT life I should maybe think about beeing a architect or at least work in that way of any direction since I see on my old days I like a lot to go around and see on buildings and take photo from different Places.
