Nice to visit, few cafes and bars, amber shops.
It's a nice street which has one bar I like to visit when in Gdansk. One of the only, if not the only building that wasn't flattened on this street during the war. Even though there are cafes and a few bars, at night they were all closed. Perhaps a winter thing.

    Another Street of Restored Houses
This is not the main street or the main square, but it is still as beautiful as those. Also located in the old city, this street features lots of beautiful restored houses and lots of places to eat and drink. You will find car traffic here.

    Beautiful street
This street is fairly short but very beautiful, with flower pots on every stoop. There are tables of amber throughout the day as well, so it's a great place to buy it if you are interested in the jewelry. Mariacka is very close to Dluga Street, so you could visit both in the same day.

Just follow the instructions in my title and you will be satisficed. One look at any photo should convince you that this is a must see street, but let me indulge. Ornate, smartly decorated terraces and porches filled with cafes, bars and shops line the thin street. Each offering a nook or cranny to sneak away into, and find a souvenir or refreshment. Attracting less people than the surrounding streets, albeit busy nonetheless. Tunnel of fun? One might call it that, at least a tunnel of visual splendor.

One of the oldest streets, ending with a church that is enormous. Church Mariacki, on a side note was finished in 1400. It took over 100 years to build it, a must to learn how they did it. Going back to the street it holds many hidden game like restourants and small amber shops. One of the restaurants we found with amazing food was literancka. You might have to make a reservation to get a seat. The small shopping places have many hand made products and artistic creations. If you are visiting Gdansk a must to see.

This is a beautiful street with the most amazing architecture. The tall houses are just gorgeous with huge steps up to each which are adorned eitherside with gargoyles, pillars, or a feature of some sort. If you like amber this is also the street for you as it is lined with many jewellery shops all selling high quality amber.

This street is so 'olde worlde', like something from a Harry Potter movie. There is so much detail in the architecture, all the tall houses have unique and quirky details, especially the drainpipes!
So many photo opportunities, I just loved it. There are loads of Amber shops where we spent some time looking and selecting gifts to take home. The ladies who served us in the shops were lovely, helpful and not at all pushy. A rewarding shopping experience for someone who hates shopping!
This street was somewhere we wandered a few times and had a charm all of it's own.

Highly recommended place and categorized as one of the most beautiful streets of Gdansk. Well, be warned that the street is very small, so there is not much to see. You will most likely just take a photo with the church on the background and that is it. There are many shops selling amber and also the coffee shop Drukarnia which is pretty nice. Many tour groups go there just to check it out.

This place is quite charming and kind of secluded from the other areas with more people. A few cafes and restaurant here are recommended, if nothing else for the atmosphere. An exceptional and not at all busy restaurant round the corner of the street, to the left when reaching the church.

How beautiful is this street which lets you discover architecture, businesses, houses, terraces, a little greenery, all in absolute calm. Without doubt one of the most beautiful streets in this good old town. To do slowly, looking everywhere
