It is an amazing place for someone to visit, there are some main attractions but for me the best thing is to enjoy a sunny day walking the colorful streets and listen to the amazing street artists playing music.

Had a tour of the old town steeped in history plenty to look at from churches, old wall, golden gate, shops, electric tour vehicles, resturants. Once you get here it's all quite close together.

The downtown of Gdansk is paradise for lovers of history. Old houses with long streets (Dluga, Mariacka), squares, churches, statues and especially embankment full of people and restaurants. Except the old town itself I recommend the boat trip to Westerplatte and the docks.

Best steak I have had. I spent 2 days in Gdansk and mostly in Old Town and in my opinion 2 days is enough time in this part of the... More

I love this place. One of the best old town in Europe. Lots of restaurants with traditional Kaszubian cousin. Special in fish market square .
