Taste of Poland private food tour Gdańsk

The tour is for people who love visiting local markets and shops and love tasting local food when travelling. While travelling as tourists we have realized that doing all the research where to go and what to it involves a lot of time and planning in advance. The result is not always as described in the reviews. That’s why we recommend visiting those places with a local that knows her way around rather than going on your own. We are food lovers thus we have selected the places with care and recommend dishes we would recommend to our best friends.

My husband and I had an intensive and personalized tour with Julia while in port in Gdansk. Our port time was limited and Julia managed to plan a full tour for us. Julia was easy to communicate with before our tour and honored any special requests. Julia is a Gdansk local and speaks beautiful English. Thank you Julia for a wonderful tour of Gdansk!

Booked a private tour excursion for Gdansk when our cruise ship docked in Gydnia. Communication with Easy Gdansk Tours was prompt and responsive to my questions and needs. We were picked up at the dock and introduced to our amazing guide Margaret and driverMarko. Our tour was fantastic and personalized by our guide and driver's insights into the history of the sites we saw (Solidarity Monument and Hall, walking tour of sites of old Gdansk, Oliwa organ concert) as well as giving us insights into Polands culture and traditions. We also appreciated that they were able to assist with our last minute request to purchase Polish potato vodka. We had a shortened day due to our cruise ship schedule but felt we weren't rushed and experenced the ambience of this beautiful town and were delivered back to in front of our cruise ship exactly at the time we had requested. I would highly recommend EAsy Gdansk Tours if you want a smaller personalized tour at much less than your cruise line will charge. Thank you again Klaudia, Margaret and Marko.

A group of 4 of us had a fantastic day in Gdansk and the surrounding area. Our cruise ship changed port at the last minute and Easy Gdansk was flexible enough to pick us up at the alternate location and change the itinerary to make our goals work. Claudia was knowledgable, interesting and fun. We told her we were ready to tour hard and she packed an unbelievable amount in to one long day. She was also able to provide invaluable perspective as a native who lived through many of the changes over the last forty years. I highly recommend Easy Gdansk

Impressive exhibition and building. Tells the moving story of the shipyard workers’ and the Solidarity Movement’s role in the collapse of the Communist System. Great view from the rooftop. Audio guide works amazingly well.

I booked the Kashubia tour with Easy Gdansk Tours for March 17th . This was my second guided tour with this company and I can highly recommend it. My guide Barbara met me at my hotel and she drove me in the direction of Kashubia with a few stops along the way. We stopped in Zukowo and took some pics by one of the many lakes along the route.Next stop was Kartuzy at a former monastery .We had a walk around the monastery grounds and the city and then stopped for in my case hot chocolate in the former refectory of the monastery. We took a side trip to see a massive castle that has never been finished. Next stop was Chmielna which is famous for ceramic. Unfortunately as it was Sunday the studio wasn’t open. The last stop was Symbark at the Centre for Education and regional promotion. We spent about two and a half hours here and it was a fascinating place.Among the things we saw were the upside down house, the largest grand piano in the world and the longest wooden plank in the world. However I learned a lot about the history of the Polish people too specifically the people of Kashubia. The centre has many interesting and historic exhibits and plenty for families on a day out or even to stay there. My guide Barbara was wonderful. I felt so comfortable with her at all times and now I feel I have made a new friend. She shared her immense knowledge of the area and Poland in general with passion and humour. She never rushed me but encouraged me to see whatever I wanted to see and take as many pictures as I wanted. We share a love of travel and enjoyed recounting some of our little travel stories with each other . Barbara was funny , kind , interesting and professional and I would have no hesitation in recommending her as a guide or in booking with easy Gdansk tours again. This was my second visit to Gdansk and second tour with this company and I have no doubt I will return and book more trips in the future.Thank you to Klaudia for arranging my tour with Barbara 😀
