We knew Medek wines and we were absolutely sure nothing would beat our beloved Hibernal. Then we got to the cellar and Jaromir proved us wrong. He got our taste just right and poured Muscaris at the end of the tasting. Well, we ended up taking two bottles with us. And that’s just because we travelled by train and could not carry any more. We also appreciated the tasting without drinking option for a teetotaller. He probably got the most out of it, “experiencing” the wines more, since he only focused on the taste in his mouth. The accommodation itself had everything we needed. A well-equipped kitchen where we had no trouble cooking (and getting our morning dose of caffeine), a living room where we could chat in the evenings, and absolutely dreamy soft duvets we happily buried ourselves in, having explored Uherske Hradiste all day. It is a pity the weather was not in our favour most of the time, we would have made better use of the terrace with a gorgeous view otherwise. We will be back. And with the kids and bikes next time. Thank you!

Oooooh, thank YOU! It was a pleasure to have you here. Book a week next time - that way you can be sure there are lots of sunny days :) PS: Yes, we can confirm that tasting without swallowing is more intense for your senses if you train it correctly. We're glad it worked for you as well!

Very friendly service - our host Jarek was informative, easy-going, inspiring and spoke perfect English. Definitely would recommend to anyone interested in spending a great evening in a small, family-run wine cellar.

Thank you for your recommendation! ♥️ Just for a record — although we excel with small groups up to 10 guests that we're hosting in our smaller cellar, we also have bigger cellar available for events up to 35 persons 🙂

Jaromir from Winery Medek is absolutely amazing. He organizes degustation for wine beginners. He is a real storyteller and tells you not only about wine, but also a lot of stories about the life of a winemaker. If you want to taste excellent wine, food and enjoy a great time, then go to Jaromír!

Thank you Jeevan! Yeeees, Saphira is the tropical one, yellow melons, pineapple, lychee and bananas, all mixed in a yogurt. You're always welcome at our winery. Cheers!
