Nothing special, but we were there during the day.

Well, during the day it looks like simple dirty street. Also people we meet there does not look friendly. Maybe during the evening it would be better choice, but I bet that I can... read more

Well, there were times when Stodolni was the place to go. But this is not truth any more. Not unless you are sixteen, you want to spend your evening-night among totally drunk or stoned people, not to be able to talk to your friends because all you can hear is loud music, etc. There are still good pubs and clubs... A few years ago it was wonderful place, now it is over. Only few pubs or clubs are daily open. many pubs are closed and only few are open whole week. If you want have a fun, you have to come in weekend but I don't promise you that you will be satisfied.

Personally, I have just 2 experience with Stodolni street, one is from 5 years ago and the other one just from my last visit in Ostrava in February. We popped just into one bar, which was very busy. Other bars looked empty or were closed as it was mid week. I don´t find anything special about it, but I know... More

Dead in February, places are closed, and most of them do not look interesting at all. We were here before when it was busy but we did not like it then either.

The golden age of the stodolni street is over... Drunk teenagers, agressive polish guests, neonazis, pickpockets... Its nothing special and city of Ostrava can't be proud of it...

Busy with many bars, pubs and some restaurants. Several rubbish kebab places. Friday and Saturday nights get rather busy with many taxis waiting to pick you up. "Everything" to do with drinks night out for a tourist - Stodolni Street has it.

Absolutely nothing special as for me. On Fridays and Saturdays many people come in for a night life even from Poland.

It's very good place to spend your time. During week days it's quiet but still most of the bars are open so go ahead and try it out
