On Fridays and Saturdays a lot of people, fun and noise. In the week not even worth going for a beer with a friend.

well, Ostrava is probably the worst city in Czech. It is really small and boring comparing to Praha or Brno. Stodolni street is the main party street of this dodgy town, with lots of fast food, kind of clubs and bars. Nothing special. But i...More

Quite frankly I do not know why Stodolni Street should be of interest to tourists. You may compare it to a little (very little) Soho, full of late-night bars and lots of noise and music. But otherwise not of any sightseeing or touristic value in...More

I suppose this is the greatest disappointment of Ostrava. It is far from what it was 10 years ago. Just a street with a few pubs and fast food eateries. No wonder most locals avoid this place and spend their money elsewhere...

We were there during the day - the street itself is boring, dull. Not much to see or take photographs. There are a few bars and restaurants - probably worth to come for a party in the night....

This is hell! If you want to see a place you dont want to be, just go there. Its a street full of ugly bars and agressive people. Its a reminder of old times that are hopefully gone forever.

Well this review I wrote here only for turista. If you want to have fun like in the bar and dancing etc. Recommend this street only on Friday, rest of the days are kind of boring and desperate..

If you want to party at night, this is THE place! There are many options for all kind of people. The alcohol is cheap.

Fifa World Cup (0 Replies)
I am in Ostrava for a week for work, and can’t seem to find a bar that shows fifa World Cup live in the evening. Already tried the bars on Stodolni Street. Can anyone help? Thank you in advance.

Where to park with camper in Ostrava? (1 Reply)
we would like to park near Stodolni street. Any recommendation? Is it allowed to park on the street with camper?

Parking in Ostrava is strictly controlled and is bad enough with a normal sized car - there are only about 300 'free' parking places, which will all be filled, and there is a large swathe where you cannot even wait. Parking on the street is pretty much out of the question, unless you go out into the suburbs. A large part of the city is also pedestrianised, Stodolní in particular. There appears to be a parking lot nearby, but it is only open from 07:00 - 17:00 which isn't a lot of use. If you...More
