Ostrava is a small, dodgy and strange city you should skip.
Well, okay I spent a day here and during that time I went up to the viewing tower which is actually a great place to see the city and its surroundings. But that is...More
This was fun and well worth the short side trip. Not a big commitment; you can stay as long or short as you like. Go into the main lobby of city hall where you will find and enormous empty hall with no employees to answer...More

At 60Kc entrance fee, it is well worth a visit. I was lucky enough to score a bit of a history lesson too. The Tourist office is in the Town Hall, and you have to go to the lift and up to the 6th floor...More
Building located in the town centre, easy to reach the point. Beautiful scenery, good communication with receptionists (they speak English and Polish), cheap price (60kč for adults). Worth to visit at all for that kind of emotionally grip.
A must when you have some freetime in Ostrava. In good weather you can discover the whole area of this interesring city. Frienly english speakig staff, and also a cool souvenir shop placed in the tower.
