You can get a great view of the whole city of Ostrava from this tower. You can even see the mountains if the weather is nice. The fee is not very expensive and you can buy all sorts of souvenirs in the shop, some are really original. Great postcards too. There is an elevator so you don't have to worry... More

If its nice day, you might consider going there are you might enjoy rly nice views of the area. Definitely worth it...even though the entry fee got little higher. Not worthy if its cloudy, foggy or windy

I have been here today. Very nice experience and as almost everything in Ostrava...Super cheap. If you want to see a huge panorama of the City you should go ahead. I would recommend to look out for the weather because it is a lot better when it's sunny and clear.

We went to New City Hall viewing towar take a look on city landscape in July. Weather was really beautiful so we had great view! Also, wind on top of the tower has really cooling power. It does not cost much, so I see it as a well spend money.

If you want to have a great of Ostrava and its surroundings, this is the place to go. The ladies at the store/desk are very friendly and one even showed up on the platform to give some information on a few of the sites.

To find the way up to this go into building up the stairs and take the lift to tourist information on the sixth floor- once there the helpful staff will sell you a ticket (40 Czech k for seniors) and you take the next lift to the top. Views from the top are terrific and show what a green city... More

The view is great. Each of the 4 sides has a picture of the view with a legend (in Czech and English) naming what you are seeing. The visitor center and tower are open until 7pm. Martin, at the visitor info center below, was fantastic. His English is great and he was very generous with his time, explaining all the... More
