A small castle complex. Not much to see here, maybe because we came in Autumn and not in the summer and we were the only ones here, but near by river makes for a great walk.

This is not the Prague Castle, but don't let that stop you from visiting. It is interesting and if you keep an open mind, you'll appreciate wide range of exhibits. It is first mentioned in 1297 so was built sometime before then. The vast majority of the information is in Czech

The Ostrava Castel is new renovated and has a nice court and a beautifull surrounding park. There are not so many info about the castel and you can not pay with the card.

this is the site of the actual medieval seat of power in the region. but it got destoyed through the ages. Rebuilding has been so thorough there is almost nothing left of the original stuff. fine if you like a full reconstruction, but to me it just was overdone. the wood
