Amazing collection of historical artifacts illustrating the complicated history of the church and city. The beautiful collection of precious gold chalices was the highlight as well as the archeological sites uncovered throughout the winding tour. Fascinating works of art and ancient frescoes. Well worth the...More

In this winter time we were told to come back for our coats if we were cold at the cloak room... I assume they keep it cooler for the art pieces to keep them safer for longer. But there is an impressive history waiting for...More

Unfortunately we were quite tired by the time we came here and only saw part of the museum, which we were a bit sad about. We saw the impressive chariot, but I would have like to know more about, e.g. how many horses that were...More

Great and modern museum, with all sorts of religious arts (paintings, statues, silverware), presented in an excellent way. The old buildings have been restored beautifuly. This museum deserves more attention.

If you are in Olomouc go there it's nice but also small time needed. It took us about half an hour there.

The collection is, of course, very heavy on religious art, but there are many other items of interest. The layout and design of the archaeological exhibits is particularly well done (and stroller/ wheel chair friendly). The works by Dürer are particularly noteworthy.

Very well done in a modern style and easy to follow with English translation of all the art. This is not a huge collection so you can easily do the museum in about an hour. This is a sleeper than many people are overlooking. I...More

The Archdiocesan Museum is housed in the renovated buildings. The tour includes the Romanesque Bishop's Palace and the Chapel of St. Barbara. The architecture is beautiful. The museum sits on the wall of the city and has a nice garden behind.

This is museum full of arts like painting, sculptures, historical objects. Building is one of the oldest in the city. Museum is very sensitive repaired and it was significat royal castle hundreds years ago. You must see during visiting Olomouc city!
