St. Moritz is the most sympathetic church in Olomouc. On the one hand with its simple exterior, on the other hand with its viewing platform at the top. Inside is the organ of the best sound in the whole Czech Republic. Come to Mass and listen to this organ.

Church is in stage of "facelift" so there is nothing much from outside.
But, inside is superb for such a small church.
Quite busy place in middle of the town.
Recommend.

This place represents a large chunk of the city's history, boasting jewels such as Edelman's organ with roughly 10 000 pipes, one of the largest in Europe. The interior is not as richly decorated as in other baroque churches in Olomouc, well, it is a gothic church after all.
The tower offers breathtaking views of the whole city, and thanks to its central location you won't get a better observation deck anywhere else. A double spiral staircase allows for smooth traffic and the whole experience is FREE of charge. You are advised to donate, though.

Entrance is through a side entrance just off the tram tracks. It is worth making a visit, despite whatever misgivings you might have given the exterior condition. It is NOT baroque and has wonderful Stained Glass

A wonderful way to spend an evening. The quality was amazing and the surroundings were fabulous. Very reasonably priced but in the winter wrap up warm.

this is one of the many very interesting churches in olomouc - there is also the cathedral - and they are close to each other and so can all be easily seen - in september or october the flower festival has displays in 5 of the churches including the small chapel to one of the saints where he was martyred - all very much worth the visit.

This is real beautiful church, one of my favorite in olomouc, although there are about six churches worth seeing here, just walk about and most of them are open in the day...but the top has great view of olomouc. however, the best is to come during service and here the organ being played. This organ is one of the largest and most beautiful in this area of Europe - i recommend to join the sunday morning service which is 10.30, or just pop in at toward the end, 11.15...and he will play some amazing music.

This is my favourite church n the city where I live more than 25 years. It looks like a castle than a church. It has a mysterious atmosphere. During Christmas time, the church displays the wooden Nativity scene. In October, the famous international organ festival takes place (the organ is unique in Europe). And the lookout from the church tower is better than from the city hall. It is really worth to visit it.

Worth the visit because you are here!
An art restoration was underway and you couldn’t enter past the entrance vestibule, unfortunately.
That said, it was interesting to see two artisans slowly and painstakingly going about their work.
