The theater has a beautiful look, the design was made by Fellner + Helmer. The beauty of the theater was created by the use of several historical styles. Interestingly, this theater was opened almost simultaneously with the Prague National Theater and the New York Metropolitan Theater.

Historical theatre

This theatre is on city center,historical building with lodges,two wing stairs and huge entry hall. If you want visit,take public transport or taxi,because find any parking place near theatre is complicated! Top level of performances!

Great architecture, great performances inside too

Well as one of my favourite restaurants is the neighborúr building, I pass this theatre building quite often. Not so often I attend performances, one could enjoy comedies, dramas, operas and I was lucky enough to see great ballet show lately - it was the very last students performance. The young artists in classic , traditional folk and modern dances and also in a musical were excellent. My bow and thanks, especially to Miss Petra SIMBEROVA, who graduated successfully and danced with grace.

Opera House

This is an opera house by Fellner and Helmer architects from Vienna. It was the first building with electricity planned by Edison himself. Very good performances. The opera house is beautiful.

Krásné divadlo / Nice theater

Velmi krásné divadlo se skvělým výhledem a perfektní akustiku. Opera Lazebnik Sevilsky bylo skvělé.

A splendid theatre building

For me, definitely a must-see in Brno. Saying this, I mean both, the spendid classical building and its interior, also thriving with the 19th century style and decor. This house (commonly used as the local opera house) is one of the most recommendable places on the theatre/opera map of Europe. Don't miss an evening there!

Very Beautiful Classical Theatre
