If you only see one attraction in Brno, this should be it! The entry was cheap at 35CZK for students, although there was no guided tour and there is an extra cost if you want to take photos. You are provided with literature in the language of your choosing. The vault is very quiet and you walk through a series... More

The vault was a place i wanted to visit for a long time and finally i did a few days ago. I didn't know what to expect but it was great experience and a chance to realize that we're mortal and that we should enjoy the time we have. Even though there is no guided tour, you will get a... More

This might be interesting formeveryone who wants to discover a bit more about the history of monks. Their catacombs with all the tumbs and mumified monks / bones is a strong experience.

Such an amazing experience! Some really well preserved bodies and I definitely recommend reading the brochure it gave some good info on the history! I understand it is not for everyone due to the nature of it but I would 100% recommend it. Amazing value for money!

Absolutely interesting and must see exhibition in Brno. If you go with young children you should tell them before what they will see. There are crypts of capuchins monks lying dead behind the glass. It is very captivating to see their facial expression in the time of death and to think that one day we all look like them...

It was a very educative and moving experience seeing the vaults and crypts of capucines. Exhibition is quite compact (just a few rooms/crypts) however definitely worth visiting. You can learn a bit of Brno's history and see mummies of capucines who were 'buried' there. Must see in Brno!

We found the capuchin crypt, just by accident as we walked past the entrance to it one night. Located just off the main cabbage market square, the Capuchin crypt is an interesting attraction. There was a small fee of 70 crowns per adult to enter and a photography fee of 30 crowns if you want to take pictures. The crypt... More

The Tomb (crypt) is the most famous part of the Capuchin monastery in Brno, which is located under the church of the Holy Cross on the homonymous square. It was founded in the mid 17th century (basements of houses which originally stood on the site of the monastery - a different height floors and ceilings in various parts of the... More

This concluded my Brno-walking tour that had started with Ossuary, but all those philosophical, ethical and other deep thoughts that take over when in some way getting in touch with the big unknown, were way stronger here. The tour is self-guided, so you can read/go at your own pace, taking your time. Although the large coffin of the baron in... More

Although the fee to enter is probably too high given how quickly you can go through this site, it is worth a visit if you are in Brno for a couple of days.
