A visit to the battlefield of Austerlitz was high on my bucketlist. So my expectations were pretty high. We were extremely lucky to find Helen Svedova, who drove us around in her comfortable car and guided us through the area. Professional, knowledgeable, flexible, relaxed. She knows the battlefield like her backpocket, effortlessly indicating all famous (and less known) sites, sprinkling them with interesting little anecdotes. She really went beyond what you may expect from a guide, showing us so much hospitality during our visit to Moravia.

We spent an exceptional day walking through the footsteps of Napoleon and his troops; in those of the Austrians and Russians. Helena's presentation is captivating, whether you are a curious military man, my husband, or an ordinary tourist like me. Moreover, she made us understand and know more about the Czech people and their history. Always attentive, she regularly asks if we continue, if we stop, if we want a coffee... I had a fantastic time with Helena on the tour of this humongous battlefield! She was friendly, had great stories and really knew how to paint the scene for the battle information. It was definitely comprehensive - so many stops, which I appreciated - and left me with a clear picture of how the battle happened.
