You can only visit the Chateau with a guided tour. Almost all tours are in Czech but you receive a leaflet with translation (at least FR DE UK are available). The problem is this one: the Tour A (Renaissance room) is very interesting; the rooms are well preserved; however the guide has only 1 hour to make the tour which... More

We did the English tour A and was blown away with the ceilings and original graffitioes and furnishings. Our guide was very pleasant and spoke pretty good English. Excellent tour and worth every extra penny for English. The B tour was rushed and we had to read everything. Our 2nd guide tried to explain a few things in English. But... More

A really beautiful castle with interesting art and history Just the tour went really fast and only in slovac and not the most interesting one The english guide was too much text jumping from one bit to another and with the tour going that fast it was difficult to even keep up reading it all and even seeing the rooms

I did not visit the chateau inside but from the outside it looks a bit run-down and not very taken care of. It has a nice small garden which must look great in spring and summer but visiting in autumn, I did not feel like exploring the castle more.

I had been disappointed several times during visits of castles in both the Czech Republic and Slovakia but this visit was awesome. if you like taking photos do not hesitate to pay for the additional fee, it is worth it. The rooms are beautiful but the ceilings are amazing. I could have spent a lot more time taking photos. Those... More

Telc château quite deserves its place in the UNESCO list. It has so many original interior objects, more than four hundreds years old. These includes beautifully carved stone and wooden ceilings, marble and wood floors and many more. H

While the exterior of this castle was rather ordinary and hidden off the town center, the interior was truly extraordinary. Much of the beautiful interior is original and very well preserved, including incredible wall etchings and murals, carving, marble and wood floors, ironwork, tapestry, old graffiti, and paintings. Additionally, there is a rather memorable hunting trophy room and a ghost... More

The castle is fairly unremarkable from the outside (although the grounds are lovely) but the rooms inside are wonderful. You can only visit the inside by guided tour, at fixed times. Check the website before you visit. There are two tours available: on Tour A (120 Kč) you can visit the Renaissance halls, and on Tour B (90 Kč) you... More
