I've visited only tower. On top is beautiful view on historical center of Telč. You will go there through very thin spiral staircase, which leads to first floor. Then there is wooden staircase. One floor is so low, that you can't stand there, you have to bend yourself. On way to top you will see two bells. On top of tower you will be rewarded by nice view.
There is entry at your own risk.

We wanted to visit another viewing tower but that was shut. We came here and really enjoyed the view from the top. Stairs were a bit narrow but that's to be expected.
The actual church is a typical middle European one.

This is a church like many others in Central Europe, well kept up, with regular (catholic) services.

The church was built in the 15th century, along with the core of the town. It is located in the city center, right by the large oblong town square. The view from its tower was said to be great by the locals - unfortunately we did not have the time to visit.

You can go up the old town watch tower for less than a £1 - well worth a trip and the church is gorgeous.

The parochial Gothic St. Jacob’s' Church with the huge 60 m high tower with two bells (Jacob and Maria) was built in the 14th century. It soon burnt down and in the 15th century it was built again, as a late-Gothic two-aisled church. After the arrival of Jesuits (middle of the 17th century) the Black Chapel, sacristy and oratory were added. The sacristy and oratory were demolished during the reconstruction in 1892. The deambulatory was added in 1737. The organ-loft is built within the nave and the original Baroque organ from 1725 can be seen there. It was closed when we visited. The archway was open to public.
