Hello! We apologize for the late reply. To answer your first question, we believe that optimal time to spend in Prague is 3 days. For the first two days we recommend to do two half-day private tours - one day focused on the left bank of Vltava river, the other day focused on the right bank of Vltava river. The tours can be done driven or walking. Having a local guide is priceless since he adjusts the tour to your need, gives you interesting informations not only about history, but also life in Prague in general. He can take you to places only locals know about and he can give you tips where to go and what to do for the rest of your day. On the third day we would recommend a trip to the countryside, very popular are Kutna Hora and Cesky Krumlov or for nature lovers we do a tour to Czech-Saxon Switzerland national park. As for Budapest, 3 days is also optimal. In two days you can do two private tours of both sides of Danube river, on the third day we recommend trip to a beautiful little town called Visegrad, its in the neighbourhood of Budapest.
