I should probably rate this poor but there may have been some language barriers here so I'll give the benefit of doubt. We went here not quite sure what we would see and when we got there we were told there were all kinds of Barouqe paintings and wardrobes from the era. $5 buck a piece, 3 of us and all there was, a small room with 1 painting and about 12 mannequins wearing Barouqe outfits. Nice outfits but I think we spent all of 8 minutes there. Really NOT worth the cost! Sorry if this offends any other part of the building. I guess there's a library there but no one told us. Only found out while creating this post.…

I have lessons here from time to time, it's fine library, but still quite un updated sort of speak, and places could be smelly. The tunnel of books is very creative tho, and mini open air areas inside are quite nice when it's warm.

This is a huge library but apart from that that's it. The entrance is very impressive with a huge "pile" of books built into a column. The actual building is OK. If you want to visit an impressive old library head to Klementinum for the guided tour.

I visited this wonderful and huge complex of buildings of the National library with my nephew who recently prepared there for his university exams. Was overwhelmed by the amount of sites, study rooms, archives and special interest places like “Mirror Chapel”. Hundreds and hundreds of Czech students and students from abroad are daily using this premisses to collect any information they need for their study or research. Partly online and partly on paper, book or magazine publication of any kind. Really an impressive place!…
