Pragulic is a social business that employs homeless people as tour guides in the streets of Prague. We challenge stereotypes and rebrand homelessness by enabling people to experience the world from a homeless perspective. Discover Prague in a different way with our homeless guided tour! I had the pleasure of having Petr for a private tour with two friends. Our Czech friend was able to translate the tour for us, but I did appreciate how much Petr tried with his limited English and effort to keep us engaged.
His story is powerful and he told it with kind eyes and an open heart.
He was an open book and painted a picture of what Prague was like through his life. I don't want to give away details of his story, but it is not light hearted. You will get some real insight and perspective of someone who lived through communism, addiction, injury and built himself back up! He also spoke on some history of the city and some major events that happened in his lifetime.
If you want a truly unique experience while supporting locals in need, please try this tour with Petr and if you can, tip well!! This is how he supports his new life.

Great initiative and a wonderfully alternative way to see the beauties and the secrets of Prague! Our guide, Aleš was very friendly and offered us a very interesting tour around the city!

Oles was an amazing tour guide. He told us many interesting stories and showed us so many places in the city we would have never seen on our own. I even live here and didn't know many of the places he showed us! A must-do activity in Prague :-)

We were expecting tour of Prague with interesing information. Instead of it we were standing for 2 hours in one place with guessing where homeless people sleep and no other info. We had chance to contribute financall twice during the evening and at the end we were asked if we support financally or by recommendation. Sadly none of these options. I hope at the beggining this could be interesting tour, but now I seems it is only money maker.

We walked with a guy who has worked as a prostitute in Prague almost all his life.
The tour was exciting, and we really got to know the shady side of Prague. We were told about everything from corrupt police to which drugs people usually take to secret sex clubs.
I can really recommend this!
The tour is done during the evening, so it might be a bit cold. It wasn't that much walking, more standing and listending, so I recommend some warm clothes.

I have to say, although with a little improvising attitude and supply of English speaker volunteer, you are aiming here to know city through perspective of homeless people. This gives you opportunity to not only support great cause, but also understand different point of view and perception. My group took guided tour with Pepa, one of view guides who speak not necessarily English, but who deliver "real deal" experience. Search "Pragulic" in google where you can find full description of tours, guides profiles etc. Voluntary translators and interpreters are accompanying guides. Let them know well in advance when you are coming and you can book tour online if there is min. 5 people. Thank you Pepa and Veronika.

We took our guests from an international conference to a tour with Petr and everybody really liked it! Petr is nice, open and friendly. We can recommend it all the people who want to see Prague a bit differently.

MY friend booked a tour for me to show me Prague from completely different view. Homeless tour could sound like really strange thing to do, but actually Pragulic plan to make a tour with extraordinary guide was one of most unique experiences I've got in Prague during my visit. Nice places, interesting spots, unbelievable stories. You can choose different people as guides with different background and all of them are really cool.

We did already two tours, and they were excellent, both in presenting the life of homeless people and its problems and in highly professional and enthusiastic guides.

You have to reserved tour in advance. Maria did it. So we were full of expectation for this tour. It is really interesting project, where people without homes are guides. They spent their lives in Prague, and now was given a second chance. Our guide person was PEPA. He is well educated, well experienced guide, and he did take us into secret places of old Prague. It was amazing. If You visit a Praque, give them a chance. We can recommend PEPA or Vaclav for 100 percent.
