The area
Neighborhood: Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.

Every time we take a walk through Letna Park we look at the same panorama across the river. I have always wondered what's in that beautiful building with the glass dome. Such amazing architecture, but in Prague it is par for the course.
This time I noticed the flag flying over the building for the first time. So yes, it is a government building. Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Fabulous building on the riverbank, more like palace than an office building with amazing views...used for government offices.
There is not much of a chance to see the interior, unless you get a job there.:)
You can admire it from across the river. Just like we did.
Oh, well...

It is a shame that this spectacular building is not identified in any way to let visitors know what it is. We happened to walk this way from the metronome and wondered how such a beautiful building was left off maps. There is no way to view inside.

The building is fabulous. It is one of the the Palaces now converted into a govt building. And you have to envy the folks who have this place as their office. If you do get a cabin that faces the Vltava river, you have arrived in life.

You will come across this palace while going to the castle district from the old town. It is massive, and is quite breathtaking.

This massive building is right along the river. It is quite cool looking and you can see it from the palace and when along the river. Very nice.

Beautiful antique building, with such a nice view in front of it. The bad side must be the fact that it's always flooded with excursions and, for people who need to work there, this may sometimes be annoying.

We passed this building while walking along the river. It is very ornate and interesting with a glass dome on top a bit like the Rathaus in Berlin.
It must be very interesting inside.

I wish I had an office in a building like that, with such a view by the river, next to a bridge. Looked more like a museum
