We were walking through Letna Park which overlooks the River Vltava and gives a great view of the bridges and the city of Prague. We came across this pavillion. It was February so not really summer season however the building is absolutely fantastic, it was built for the 1891 Great Exhibition.
We decided to have lunch and couldn't believe how empty the restaurant was. Although I usually don't like people hanging outside restaurants dragging people in, I think this place really need to make the effort otherwise you'd never find it.
They did a lovely lunch, we had mushroom soup in a bread loaf and really enjoyed it.

From the map I had selected this place for lunch. It was a long walk up there, but we were very well rewarded.
The building itself is of amazing design, and the views of Prague are fantastic. Especially if you sit outdoors.
Staff were very friendly and food and drinks superb.
Couldn't ask for more.
A wonderful morning in Prague.

We stumbled upon the Pavilion while walking through the park one afternoon and decided to come back for dinner. Our concierge booked a reservation for us and although we arrived 20 minutes early we were immediately seated. The recommended Czech Merlot was excellent however the lamb and beef were both a bit tough. The best views in town though!!

Great ornate iron work in this magnificent building with a lot of history .
After a long climb in the cold, we had a welcome hot coffee there with cake, overlooking the whole of Prague. It really is worth the effort

Absolutely do not go here. Stuff is rude and not organized. Everything else is very mediocre. The only nice thing is the view.

If you are looking for some good views (especially around sunset) this is the place to come.
We came here of course for the views, and lingered quite some time because regardless of where you were by the pavillion or in the park on the pathway, the views were stunning.
Soak it all in, come and check the views.

Havansy Pavilion is good for both reasons: to look at it and to eat inside it :) Be careful while choosing where to write your review.
Well, I saw Pavilion only from exterior and liked it. Very interesting small structure, beautiful views open from observations desk in front of it. Even if you’re not intent to take a sit here, do come and see it.
