Our pilot was Richard... he was amazing. The BEST way to get introduced to this sport/activity. Richard was wildly over qualified, and calming/competent for first-time riders. He was amazing and so was the trip. He's also the kind of guy you'd want to have a beer with too.... just an amazing experience! One of the only rare places left in the world where you can hot air balloon over a big city! Thank you Aeropartner!

Tibolt and Miroslav picked us up at our hotel and drove us to Karlstejn. The weather was unfortunately extremely foggy. But Tibolt and Miroslav waited with us tirelessly to let the weather clear up. Unfortunately it never did so they gave us a ride back to the hotel. Later that evening it was perfect conditions however so we made a new try and this time it worked! We helped preparing the balloon and slowly ascended. Soon after we had an amazing view over the castle in sunset. Everything was very peaceful and so beautiful. I proposed to my girlfriend who said yes and the evening could not have been better. Tibolt explained how everything worked, how to maneuver and told some ballooning stories. When we landed champagne and sunset was waiting for us. It was an amazing experience and all I want to do now is buy myself a balloon and fly all the time!

In August 2015, in the course of our plans for visiting Prague, my brother-in-law saw something about taking a balloon ride over Prague. He contacted Tibor Duchovny at Aeropartner, using an email for balloon at their website, inquiring about the possibility of taking a ride during our stay in Prague in early December. Tibor responded promptly, thanking us for our email and interest in flying with them. He gave us some information about the balloon ride: They usually fly from two very beautiful locations in Prague and both are very close to the city centre.and added that it is only possible to fly over Prague when there is a west or northwest wind. In case of other wind conditions we could offer you to fly over Karlstejn Castle (near Prague). He gave us a quote for a private flight for 4 people at a cost of 600 EUR. This price includes flight, transport, balloon ride certificate, champagne after landing. It is possible to pay in the day of the flight and reservation and cancellation is free without any cancellation fees. He indicated the only date that they currently had available and said that he had put us on the schedule and added that he would contact us the day before flight how it looks with weather forecast and offer all details. He closed saying we should not hesitate to contact me for more information. Upon arrival in Prague, we contacted Tibor and gave him our contact information. The day before our flight, he called to confirm that the weather looked good and to indicate where and when they would pick us up. Right on time, we were met outside our lodging. We walked with Tibor to their waiting van and trailer (holding the balloon and equipment), where Tibor's partner, Alfonz Liska, was waiting. Both are licensed pilots - in fact, Alfonz was flying to the US that weekend to pilot a new plane from the manufacturer back to Prague. We traveled to a large grassy spot on a hill with a full view of the castle where they inflated the balloon and we climbed aboard. Tibor piloted the balloon and we left Alfonz to drive to meet us. The weather was beautiful and the scenery was amazing. Tibor was in contact with both Alfonz and air traffic control throughout the trip. Below we could see children playing in school yards - stopping, looking, pointing. Workers stopped their labors to look up and wave. The only sounds were from an occasional blast of the burner and distant traffic noise from below. After more than an hour, we descended over the top of some woods well beyond the city. The basket brushed the tops of the trees by a brook and deer and pheasants bolted from their hiding places. We touched another treetop and two wild boar bounded out from their hiding places, grunting as they went. We landed gently on a farm road and soon Alfonz was there to collect us and the balloon. It was a marvelous experience and I would recommend them to anyone interested in ballooning over or near Prague.

My boyfriend and I booked a trip with Aeropartner during our stay in Prague. My boyfriend contacted Tibor 3 months ahead of time, was told that it is all weather dependent and that it would be best to be in contact closer to our trip. Ben contacted Tibor again about 2 weeks before our trip and they had seamless e-mail conversations about our trip and what to expect. Little did I know that my boyfriend was going to propose! Tibor helped him pull this secret off excellently!! Tibor and Alfonz picked Ben and I up at our hotel at the time we had agreed on. They drove us out to the launch site near Karlstejn Castle where we were asked to help with the initial inflating of the balloon. I really liked being involved in the beginning instead of just standing around and watching. Once we were in the basket and ready to take off I barely realized we were off the ground. It's like all of a sudden you are just floating! It is so beautiful and serene from the top! I couldn't have pictured a better place to get engaged!! We were in the air with Tibor for about and hour with views of the Czech countryside all around us. It was truly breathtaking. Once we landed we were welcomed by Alfonz with champagne and a toast. This is a tradition for hot air ballooning (not just because of our engagement). We were able to pay by credit card once the ride was over and we were dropped back at our hotel. Tibor and Alfonz were excellent guides. They helped us feel at ease and at no point during the ride did we do anything but enjoy ourselves. We would suggest a trip with Aeropartner for anyone who is travelling to Prague. If we go back we will definitely book another trip! Thank you Tibor and Alfonz for a beautiful ride.

I started planning a surprise hot air balloon ride for my fiance for the one day we were going to be in Prague 7 months prior to our visit. I talked personally with Zelenej about scheduling the trip. He assured me that everything would be ok and that he was not booked for that date. We stayed in constant contact over the following few months. One month prior to our arrival I talked with Zelenej again and again he assured me that we were booked and told us to pick a time, 7am or 7pm. I decided on 7pm. Four days before our arrival I tried to contact him and did not get a response. I figured he must be busy and that he would try to return my call. Never happened. The day before our arrival I tried to contact him again, nothing. Today I called and got him to answer the phone to ask about our trip tomorrow. He answered and told me that he was really sorry but he was out of Prague and will not be able to give us the balloon tour. He did not care that he was not doing as he told me he would. Just a "well, that's a pity." Please avoid at all costs.

Response from BalloonPrague, Manager at Aeropartner

This is clearly unfortunate situation and we are not happy about false and exaggerated review. We are having lot of requests every day and as we are not able to predict weather we are not taking any long therm booking as well as we do NOT take any payment in advance. This is clearly stated on our web page, Normally we suggest to contact us one or two weeks prior to planned flight. This client called us one day!! prior to flight with request that next day is the only day he can do it. Weather was not permitting flight so we couldn't accept booking anyway. Therefore this review about robbery and ruining trip is very inappropriate. To provide excellent service we always work hard but sometimes people just don't care.
