Neighborhood: Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.

Been in Prague for two days lovely city, just people dont smile enough. Then found this small bar with lovely owner called Lubor he never stops smiling and lovely relaxing atmosphere . We use this ss our local bar before dining out and bonus is really cheap. They do a handful of bar snacks but yet to try.
If around give it a try owner is so pleasant.

Visited this bar in January, during a sort trip to Prague. I only had time to visit once, but will definitely return on my next trip to Prague. I found it friendly, and welcoming. The beer was really good, and cheap! My only problem was the only seats are stools which I didn’t find too comfortable but there was sport in the tv’s so if you’re looking for a good beer in a local bar this is the place!

We found this lovely little bar to watch the rugby. The bar tender was absolutely brilliant. He was extremely friendly. The prices were really good too. We went back a second time just for a drink.

Could only last a couple of minutes in this place. Extremely rude manager or owner, over and above he couldn't care less if u were insulted and didn't mind if u just leave.
There are plenty of very friendly and better bars all around. Avoid this place.

I visited this bar with my husband on Wednesday 11th February with my husband as our hotel was located nearby. This was our first evening in Prague. We're from Ireland.

On entering the bar at 9.30pm I was advised abruptly by the bar person that they were closing in half an hour. After ordering drinks at bar counter and waiting to be told price in order to pay bar man spoke to me in Czech. I explained politely that I didn't understand and he said in a rude manner 'you're not in England now you speak Czech'. I found his manner so unfriendly and rude. We have visited Poland 4 times and Budapest once and have never experienced such rudeness.

I fully understand when visiting a country that not everyone speaks English but I simply wanted to pay for our drinks.

We experienced a completely different service at the House of Beer opposite from the Sport Bar Pohoda a few evenings later. We were made to feel so welcome and the staff even made a point of finding us seats in the House of Beer which was busy at the time.

Went in a few days ago for our first beer in Prague, and we were met by the most unpleasant bartender. She seemed miserable working there- not sure if we got that treatment because we were tourists or if she wasn’t happy working. And as we left, we thanked her for her service and wished her a good night- she still was miserable and basically stuck her tongue out at us (which she didn’t realize that my husband was watching her). Do yourself a favor and do not stop by this establishment if she is working there.

When I got there the bar tender said they were closing soon and there was only time for 1 beer. That was understandable, but 10 min later when I saw her fill 2 glasses for a group of 4 people that she clearly knew, I asked for one more. She said no even though she literally just handed the beer to the other person. Seems like the place only caters to locals. There are plenty of other nice places nearby.

We visited Saturday and Sunday and liked the calm atmosphere and excellent prices. Toilets very clean. Both times the welcome was warm and we were thanked for visiting. Loved the old pictures on the walls.

Called in for a drink in what looked like a nice genuine locals bar. Met with a strong smell of BO and a really unfriendly woman behind the bar. I guess she didn't like English as she was quite rude and dismissive. Loads of others to try before this one!
