Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.

Really like this place for theater, for concerts not that much. It gts stuffy and hot hot hot, but thank God they forbad smoking downstairs about a year ago. Two bars with nice selection of drinks and good coffee. Very friendly staff.

Extraordinary theatre with great people in a beautifull city. If ever coming over to Prague, this is a must-see :-)

I love Archa. It's a place where you meet cool people, see experimental or socially-engaged theater (often international) and, in general, shows that raise discussions. They have great accoustics for concerts and chilled bar to have a drink afterwards. You can also feel the history in the walls of the theater building, which gives additional atmosphere.

I had the chance to perform in this theater with a dance piece (PONGO LAND - Nuno Lucas & Hermann Heisig) and it was great. I have the chance to travel all around Europe with my work and I can say that this is one of the best places ever. Great space, amazing team and a great feeling from the audiece. If you want to spend a great evening and watch what is best produce in the performing arts, this is the place. My Czech friend Kateřina once she knew that i was going to perform here she said "Really at Divadlo Archa? That's the best place here in town. You are lucky!" I guess i am.
