The area
Neighborhood: Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.

My twin brother jumped the tram down to tram stop Jindrisska which drops you off at the beautiful Kostel Svateho Jindricha A Svate Kunhuty .
Kostel Svateho Jindricha A Svate Kunhuty ( Church Of St Henry And St Kunhata ) is a wonderful looking church founded in 1348 ,roughly the same time as the New Town District ( Nove Mesto ) was established ,interior is superb ,a really peaceful church ,the separate bell tower ( Henry's Bell Tower ) is also amazing ,gardens in which the church sits are also lovely and well kept ,if you're in the area it's a church to most definitely check out.

My twin brother Stephen and I had jumped the tram down to Henry's Bell Tower were we planned to visit the whisky bar called Whiskeria in this famous old bell tower ,adjacent to the stone tower is Kostel Svateho Jindricha A Svate Kunhuty ( Church Of St Henry And St Kunhata ) ,a really beautiful church that's just a joy to view.
Founded in 1348 ,the same period as Nove Mesto ( New Town ) ,the interior is superb ,vaulted ceilings, lovely religious icons, lovely features throughout the church ,unfortunately no photos allowed ,cool with that as it's a place of worship, the exterior is really amazing, the stonework, the grounds in which the church is set are also superb ,all in all it's a church I highly recommend you visit if you're planning a trip to Prague ,tram number 3.5.6.14,to stop Jindrisska drops you off at the church.

A very short tram ride out of the more touristic areas of Prague drops you off at Kostel Svateho Jindricha A Svate Kunhuty ( Church Of St Henry And St Kunhata ) .
This beautiful stone church was founded in 1348,the same time as the New Town district of Prague, a great example of Gothic architecture ,the interior is lovely, its only quite small but so ornate, arched ceilings,a fantastic main altar, superb gilded features abound throughout the church, nice artwork ,the quarried stone tower is the largest free standing tower in Prague, it really is a beautiful church set in fabulous and well kept grounds.
Kostel Svateho St Jindricha A Svate Kunhaty is easy to locate, tram numbers 3.5.6.9.14 to stop Jindrisska drops you off adjacent to the church and the wonder Henry's Bell Tower facing the church, most definitely well worth checking out if your in the area.

St.Henry and Cunigonde church
Next to St. Henry tower.
Small limited access no photo but awesome.

At present, the church is used for Roman Catholic worship. At the entrance to the church there are two sculptures, on the left statue of St. John of Nepomuk and on the right the statue of St. Judas Tadeáš. Both dates back to 1709. The church is dedicated to the King and Emperor Henry II. (lived between 979 and 1024) and his wife Kunuchta.

We went twice.

Kostel Svateho Jindricha A Svate Kunhaty ( Church Of St Henry and St Kunhata ) is a beautiful church that is just a short ride out of the more touristic parts of Prague.
The church is really lovely and although I haven't been into the church I have wandered around the beautifully well maintained gardens and admired this church.
The church itself is also fantastic and looks enchanting ,the stone work looks superb as do the big windows and the main entrance looks awesome, the church looks like it has some serious history attached to it and makes for a really nice place to just take time out from the hustle and bustle of the city centre.
Facing the church you also have the magnificent and imposing Henry's Bell Tower which has the coolest whiskey bar in Prague which is also well worth checking out,the views from atop Henry's Bell Tower of the church are absolutely amazing .
This is one church I highly recommend you visit, you certainly won't be disappointed.
Kostel Svateho Jindricha A Svate Kunhaty is easy to locate by jumping tram number 3.5.6.9.14 and many more to stop Jindrisská drops you off practically by this wonderful church.
This really is one beautiful area of Prague, besides the church and the tower there are some wonderful authentic Czech restaurants,Restaurant Jindrisske Veze located by this church is also well worth going to after visiting the church.
