One of the loveliest churches I've ever seen

Wow! A stunning church- just so beautiful outside and in.

We viewed it from the top of the nearby hill and it was just as nice close up. It is set on a beautiful square- there was a city-wide music festival taking place there when we visited.

The church is full of beautiful paintings, windows and sculptures. It gets just the right balance between being awe-inspiring while not too overblown or gaudy. A very special place.

Please note that for some reason the church isn't currently marked in the right place on the Trip Advisor map- it should be in the middle of the nearby grassy square.

The first Prague attraction...for us

We were staying at Hilton, Prague 8. After checking in, we decided to go for a walk in the adjacent areas and that is where we discovered this beauty. Thats why I call it my first Prague attraction. And it was not a part of the itirenary to begin with.

Prague, and people living here are blessed with such architectural marvels in every nook and corner.

There is a lovely park in front of the Church where you can spend a lazy afternoon.

Good place.

Magnificent setting

Sitting at the end of an open park on Sokolovska, this church looks magnificent. It's patrons brought the Gospel to Slavic lands and also devised the Cyrillic script (a variation of ancient Greek). Well worth a look.
