The area
Neighborhood: Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.

Wheelchair access - YES
Seemingly closed except on Wed, Sat and Sun from 16.30.
Belfry and Church are separate buildings.
There is no access to the belfry.
Stunning medieval archway just inside the entrance doors.
Though the nave is filled with devotional sculptures, it is light and airy.

Slightly smaller than other churches we visited in Prague, but also beautiful. It is not always open, but we were staying nearby so we managed to get in. It is also in Prague 1, but not in the area where most tourists wander, so if you're interested, look for it.

Trudging through the snow I chanced upon this beautiful church and what a great find .
A church with serious history attached to it ,it's a wonderful stone built church ,the most distinctive feature of the church is it's separate bell tower ,a very photogenic church indeed that's easy to locate on Biskupska and well worth seeking out if you're in the area .

This kostel is on the end of the street of hotel where I stayed in Prague. Very nice sample of gothic church architecture. It also has its own small garden.

The Church of St. Peter was founded in 1150, and Gothic reconstruction was carried out in 1382 - 1411. In 1913 - 1914 it was reconstructed. Located in the historical center of Prague.
