There are several really beautiful buildings up on Petrin Hill,obviously you have the famous Petrin Tower but the Cathedral Of St Lawrence ( Katedralni Chram Svateho Vavrince ) in my opinion is the most beautiful.
The work of esteemed architect Killan Ignaz Dientzenhofer and originally constructed in the Romanesque style of architecture ,later modified and built in the Baroque style of architecture so pleasing on the eye ,it's a great landmark church building ,very photogenic,makes for some great photographic opportunities ,adds to the joy of visiting Petrin Hill.

Katedralni Chram Svateho Vavrince ( Cathedral Of St Lawrence ) is yet another beautiful church in this most beautiful of cities, what makes this church so beautiful to me is its location up on Petrin Hill,originally built in the Romanesque style of architecture then later in the Baroque style of architecture that is so pleasing on the eye ,this cathedral looks superb ,makes for some great photographic opportunities, most people who head up the hill venture into the mirror maze or visit Petrin Tower but to me the standout piece of architecture is most definitely the cathedral.
Most definitely well worth checking out if your planning a visit up to Petrin Hill.

When you reach the top of the Petrin hill your attention will most likely turn to the Rozhledna Tower. There are always crowds trying to get in and up to the tower, and then there is also the Mirror Maze good to take the kids in. So, who is going to make the time for the beautiful church behind you? Well, you should. You are already there and even if you are not going to make it inside, at least take a good look from the outside and from the top of Rozhledna.
Yes I know, perhaps you have seen enough of churches already. They are all centuries old, the architecture changed over the years and so did the ownership.
Perhaps that is all you need to know. But as the history often repeats itself , the uniqueness and beauty of each church is in the details.
...and after all this is Prague and every church spire counts.
