About
October 10, 2007 is the date when we opened our first bar store on the top of Neruda Street, right next to Prague Castle. Over time, ours Absinth bar has become a very confusing and popular place in the ranks of travelers from all over the world. Our work is our hobby. Unfortunately, at the end of January 2017, the lease was not extended and we were forced to leave our beloved bar. After less than 6 months, we found the right space for our ideas and for the magical date of 10.10.2017, after 10 years, we in Tyn yard only 3 minutes from the Old Town Square opened. We have a bigger space (140m2) and a cellar from the 14th century! in which there is one of the steps even from the 13th century, when this area was inhabited by a blacksmith. We divided the two floors as follows: the first floor is rather located in the shop and the bar is very downstairs with a very unique decoration. The atmosphere is amazing. We prepare our drinks right before a guest on a cart!

Neighborhood: Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.

I’m not into absinth, but you need to visit as I can guarantee you have never seen anything like it. If you fancy trying absinth great, they do beer as well. Superb staff so interested and committed to what’s they do. Fantastic.

If you want to see some of the more eclectic and non-touristy sides of Prague, be sure to visit the amazing Green Devil Absinth Bar. I liked it so much I visited it twice within the 5 days I spent in Prague.
The atmosphere of this place is hard to describe. I think surreal sums it up. From the moment you walk into the Shop part on the main floor you will understand. And from there you make your way down green lit corridors and down stairs to the Bar part of the place. This is where your friendly host will sit you down on some funky chairs and walk you through the very abundant Absinth menu. Lots of great choices from both France and the Czech Republic. And if you don't know where to start, your host will be your guide.
This place makes for a very interesting and one of a kind experience so please don't miss it while you are Prague

Walked in here because we were lured in by the glow in the dark demon outside. Never had absinthe before. The staff was very friendly and informative. Our girl was great in explaining the different types of absinthe since the menu is extensive. Good for one after dinner drink, as drinks are strong and pricey.

My wife and I visited here as I saw it on trip advisor and wanted to visit. The bar itself is very unique and a real spectacle. The absinth menu is huge, I never realised there were so many options. Thankfully a member of staff helped us and informed us of the different varieties and how they tasted. Once we had picked he returned with a trolley and prepared our drinks which, I must say, were good. I would definitely visit this bar again if I ever come back to Prague.

If u feel like visiting something absolutely unique, that’s the place to go.
The atmosphere is yet hard to describe - something between weird, cool and fascinating.

What is more, the bartender is quite hot.

The Green Devil should be experienced. It is a bizarre place, but I recommend anyway. My wife and I went in blind with no expectations. Neither my wife or I have had an absinthe drink before or will likely ever have it again. We both do not like licorice, and that is the primary taste of the absinth drink. The place and the making of the drink should be experienced.
